ZeptoMail vs MXroute

I actually have my own mail servers, but In the past I had Zoho mail, Google gsuite, Outlook etc.
I prefer online services since the downtime is small even if the service is deferent but you wont care about the downtime for example the uptime for Zoho mail in the last year is 100%, and its the same for others.
I don't know about MXroute but since its built on actual servers and not cloud service I expect to not be 100% since its very hard to had on Barematel servers to not even stop a service or reboot or upgrade anything and had downtime.
so its up to you, but I would create my own vps or server and install hestiacp and setup a simple mail server over MXroute.

    MXroute's uptime is pretty good.
    My uptime stats:

Note that the "MXroute Reseller email" server tracking was started at the time of a problem (forgot to add tracking before - LOL), so those figures will be more realistic in about 12 months' time.

Besides, it's email. If you aren't running a super-busy webshop, I suppose you won't lose millions if a server needs to reboot.

I've been using MXroute services since 2018, and haven't looked back since I switched. No more honest recommendation that that. Pricing - see for yourself, I think it's super-cheap, while quality is top-class (at least in my experience so far).

Really? Currently, I am using Mailgun, and it's similar to Zampato in that it doesn't require creating individual mailboxes to use. @jar Could you please provide more information about this?

Just make a catch all on the domain in DirectAdmin to satisfy exim’s sender verification. We’re a full email service and not just a transactional. While you can use us for that, there are considerations relating to the fact that we’re designed to accept inbound mail too. Same as any DirectAdmin server in that department.

Our outbound infrastructure is what has no clear relation to an average DA server.

  • @jar For instance, within WHMCS, we need to configure SMTP settings for email. If I create an email account, such as [email protected], in MXroute's DirectAdmin and use its SMTP credentials in WHMCS, it should function. However, I also use different emails like [email protected] and [email protected] for various purposes, such as support tickets.

The challenge arises in setting up these additional emails within WHMCS because each email account comes with its own set of credentials. WHMCS, however, provides only one SMTP option for all emails.

My question is, if I add the SMTP credentials of one email in WHMCS, will it automatically enable the functionality for all other emails?

If you want to send from any email you want @yourdomain.tld, but you don't want to create an inbox for it, create a catchall for the domain in DirectAdmin to satisfy exim's sender verification checks. But WHMCS does accept different credentials for support departments, because you usually want to use a POP3 import alongside it.

Got it. yeah, I just remembered about the support's POP3 option. Can email importing be done through mxroute as well? For instance, if someone wants to open a support ticket by sending an email directly to the support email address?

Yeah, same way we do our email in HostBill, same we did on WHMCS before, no real difference.
