If you are sending/recieving lots of emails with heavy attachments it will definitely hit 100mb in a week or less. In that case I recommend simplelogin which is unlimited. For average user this 100 mb is more than enough, I even rarely hit 10 mb limit on free tier, let alone 100 mb.
I got the smallest version, 5GB disk space. I am on their Plesk12 node. My PHP Memory is 384M.
Their BlackFriday sale has started. Coupon e96mVzFS will give you 40% off on lifetime Webspace. I think the coupon is valid for next 12 hours, not sure though. And if you wait another 90 mins, they going to publish 35% off coupon code for lifetime VPS.
If anyone's considering netcup deals, here's how their x10 CPU root server compares to x14 CPU VPS, root server comes first:
Cause zap suck
Thanks for the tag mate! Unfortunately had university seminar this morning, so I missed it😅 maybe it'll come back later today.
It's 30% on lifetime Rootservers until 17:00 now
Any lifetime license / one-time subscription offers?
Anybody interested in Cloudlinux license? We could post an unbeatable BF offer if anyone wants it.
internal usage only?
If can be used on other providers that would be 👍
No, not internal use only. You can use it in any server you have.
Only $33/quarter

Just wanted to say thank you, I was able to get a lifetime windows vps just in time which is a huge lifeline for me as sometimes I need access to windows from my phone so having it active 24/7 is fantastic.
Is there any catches you know about like leaving it idle to long that kinda thing ?
Congrats! Yeah, also very happy with my lifetime vps and rootserver with them
Now the lifetime webspace is 40% off, so gonna get that, too
Regarding your question: you need to login to zap and open the dashboard of your lifetime products at least each 3 months (check tos). If you dont open it for a longer time it will first get deactivated then after another 4 weeks warning period deleted forever.
That said, they send you reminders like this, so it's hard to miss. Also if it gets suspended/deactivated you will also get another warning I'm sure.
Thank you so much their site is a bit of a mess so couldn't find information on it, but login every few months seems fair
You are absolutely an MVP thanks so much
You are welcome
Both of my lifetime vps with them are behaving nicely

Hoping the webspace will be the same haha
It was on discount again, so I snagged it now @netsujit
Filen, pCloud, Koofr all running lifetime subs.
I would personally rank them in the order Filen > Koofr >> pCloud when it comes to feature. But Koofr (Mac) app is kinda worse than pCloud.
I thought I'll upgrade my existing 5GB webspace to 20GB using the BF code. But they are smart. They have disabled coupon code use on upgrades
Thought the same for vps haha
As for the webspace I straight out bought the biggest plan.
In case anyone needs another one @netsujit @jackalblood

Isn't Filen the slowest in speed among the three?
Tried the free account, toooo sloww!!
For it was the second fasted. pCloud fastest, Filen, then Koofr. But feature and app wise I ranked them the way I did and for my use case which is backup, not sync. Filen has out of the box backup feature.
Can Filen be used as a substitute of free Google Drive to back up and sync files/photos between Android mobile, Windows PC and cloud?
@netsujit @jackalblood
ZAP Hosting just announced via email the next lifetime vps and lifetime rootserver discounts to be at:
Lifetime vServer:
25.11.2023: 20:00 - 21:00 MEZ
26.11.2023: 11:00 - 12:00 MEZ
26.11.2023: 20:00 - 21:00 Uhr MEZ
Lifetime Rootserver:
25.11.2023: 16:00 - 17:00 MEZ
26.11.2023: 04:00 - 05:00 MEZ
26.11.2023: 16:00 - 17:00 MEZ
27.11.2023: 04:00 - 05:00 MEZ
I would assume the ones early in the morning (4am/5am) will incurr a bigger discount since barely anyone will see them. Yesterday at 2am lifetime dedi was 25% off. Might happen again during such time..
Are their root servers any good ?
The vps seems good so far
I've been happy with my rootserver so far, but the OS versions are really outdated (Debian 10 and Ubuntu 18; Ubuntu apparently has a broken image). However, with full-upgrade command I was easily able to upgrade from Debian 10 to 11 ( https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/update-upgrade-debian-10-to-debian-11-bullseye/ ).
ONE THING TO NOTE: You can upgrade specs like RAM, Disk Space and Mbit/s later, but you CAN NOT change the CPU model later. I went with the older/cheaper cpu model, thinking I'd be able to upgrade later. In hindsight, I'd choose the better CPU model right from the get-go. Not because mine is bad, but because you can't upgrade it later.
You can also use netboot.xyz to install Ubuntu 20/22/23, or Debian via VNC. It takes a while but there's a nice guide from @netsujit in the OP here: Click
Once you know how it's done it's quite easy, too. And you got a kvm lifetime vps
This is a YABS from rootserver from @sgheghele (I didn't find the one I posted lol):

It gives 10GB if that is what you meant to ask.
