    DC is rebooting core switch to fix the IPV6 issue, so network will be offline for 2-3 minutes

    I just purchased it two days ago. I want to know if I can safely host the production environment on this SLC node. I am worried about its stability and data security. @HostEONS

    Power outages are not like daily incidents, they happens in rare cases and can happen with any provider, I've seen these rare outages with the largest providers as well

    Even with today's outage no data was lost and we restored everything within 30 minutes I think

    But still you can decide and check https://status.hosteons.com for our uptime history

    I think I will continue to use it, if SLC2 is as stable as your other nodes. I don't doubt your attitude towards doing things, that is the reason why I placed the order.

    I will try my best and make sure not to disappoint you

    But there is still one issue in SLC, which is actively being worked on, IPV6 is currently partially down, working with carriers to fix it, should be fixed soon

    Yeah always try to be as transparent as possible, if as provider we try to cover up things it just makes things frustrating for the clients and I understand it from personal experience because I know how frustrating it is when my Vendor i.e. Datacentre are not being transparent with me, so I always try to be as transparent as possible and try to deliver the best feasible services.

    Sometimes being transparent may get some criticism, but in long term it's always good and also gives personal moral satisfaction for not keeping clients in the dark.

    India is gonna take time, we may start SGP in a couple of months

    I want to even start Tokyo, but BW costs are high and won't match our offerings.

    Just to update IPV6 is still not fixed in SLC DC2, the DC guys are busy with fixing servers that got corrupted in power outage, but they have assured me that they will be working on to today itself, in fact even their own IPV6 blocks are down just like us, so please bare with us till IPV6 is fixed

    Guys wanted to ask would you be billing to pay $1.5 or $2 more for same VDS in LA ? we have already ordered new nodes for LA, but the colo costs are higher in LA compared to SLC, so can't do same price as SLC
