same happened with my, I sold a domain, gave buyer transfer code upon full payment, the deal was closed legally. Now it was on his part to use transfer code to migrate that domain to his registrar which he didn't. Now leaglly from date of sale of the domain, I was not the owner of this asset and he was, so not my obligation to renew on his behalf if he has not directed me to do so. If he was my friend, I would have renewed for 1 year, considering its was not sold for less than reg fee. but that's it.
Keep the money, let the domains expire and next time make an auction rule that clarifies this.

You should try to upgrade from bitmap graphics to vector graphics
