[LF] Looking for VPS in Ashburn / East Coast USA

Hi,

I am looking for reliable VPS (in USA) with below specs and really good connectivity to Europe.
Specifically should have good connectivity (latency) to Terrahost (Norway) and Netcup (Vienna).

4 CPU cores
8 GB RAM
60 GB NVMe storage
20 TB+ bandwidth

G5 score should be at least 850+ per core, that means only EPYC and above.
Looking in similar or lower price range to Netcup.

Comments

  • Hetzner has the Ashburn location and EPYC CPU there.

Similar in price to netcup? Do you mean like ~$10/month? Might be a bit of a push in this location.

Hetzner's Ashburn is probably closest? (CPX31)

Hetzner Ashburn would probably be the cheapest option. I have a vps with Toxihost they use OVH's Ashburn location.

I get 90ms to netcup and 107ms ping to Terrahost Norway.

I would also look at getting a vps from a hosting provider like madcityservers (although I do use them, proceed with caution due to past history associated with company) that uses ReliableSite's 7000 series dedicated servers located both in NJ/Miami

I already use one from MadCity, found them quite good actually and One from HH in NY.
I need more in different state/city.

    Btw what's the history?

  • Oh nice, they are one of my favorites.
Ryzen + No BW limits + Great network thanks to ReliableSite + Reasonable pricing.

    Just finished reading that post.
Didn't like the way things went down, very unprofessional.

But at least he owned it.
Plus if story is right, I should be safe. Am in Chicago there.

  • I have experience with Kuro, LC, and Aqua's servers. GT recently launched VPS, but never saw any promo, so not sure they would be willing to get in budget I'm looking for.

LC sadly won't work for my need.
Aqua only has NY that might have low latency to EU, but I want skip NY as I already have NY servers.

Doubtful, that either of 3 locations of Kuro would have low latency to EU.

Good luck with that. As far as i know, the provider that has Ashburn location is Speedypage.

    Have you try aquatis before?

Also you can check latency for kuro in here
