With stories going around Terra nowdays, their is motherload of reasons to panic.
My KC Terrahost VM is up.
Mail seems to be in NO, so that could've been impacted as well.
Depends from where they check that - they claim BGP issues so maybe part of traffic is just fucked up and that one testing is up. Unfortunately ping.pe only run pings to cloudflare so no idea.

Downtime: 26 min, not great, not terrible
I think this is the end of my time with Terrahost. Given everything else going on with the Epik drama, which is very sad IMO, and still in flux, I was already on the edge with Terrahost. But I was still trying to hold out hope. I had already closed all my Epik services.
Not thrilled with the way they are handling this outage and the communication. It's the type of thing they would have known about and planned for (assuming it's just maintenance on the Oslo fiber), but I received no notification, and the planning looked like... well, like no planning at all... just boom, down. Not cool.
Oh well, can't comment on Epik drama. That has got me worried too.
But things can happen once in a while with anything, it's how you handle it that matters.
Most important reason to panic for me was, everything not accessible all of sudden lol, including their website.
Reading status entry they did not expect any downtime, bug happen.
Communication (now, lol) is pretty good on theirs status page - updates every few minutes. Probably time to bug @terrahost why e-mails about this planned job didn't go out...

There was a notice about this on their Discord which was posted on the 9th, and a reminder 5 hours before the scheduled outage.

Mine's back up too. Still not happy about this incident and the poor communication IMO considering this was for "maintenance". Shit happens, I know that, and it can happen to any provider. How they handle it and considering all the other issues going on w/ Epik, I don't need any more stress. I already pulled everything from Epik, which was very annoying to have to do, so all in all, I think I just want to say goodbye to Terrahost too. Sometimes it doesn't take much. And BTW, the thing that made me more concerned than this was that I didn't like Terrahost's response over in the Epik thread, so I was already contemplating this. No offense to anyone who is staying. I had a nice time while I was there. That's just me. YMMV, do what you need to do of course.
Absurd to only post it there. That makes the lack of communication IMO even worse. They should have sent an email... probably two. One a week+ ago, and one today. Plus a notice on publicly facing sites in advance under planned maintenance. I should not have to find out about it here. But Discord?
