I have had bad experiences with providers that offer 1 port with 10gb and the reality is different

No. We offered the OP a 100TB monthly data plan on 10gbps. Since the server would have a 10gbps port, it means they would be able to burst up to 10gbps. We do not rate limit our ports or otherwise oversell/restrict.
