Better known as incompetence. But why wouldn't you quote reply the part where you think it is incompetence, since the explanation is the datacenter is at fault? You don't make sense except to be a tool.

I just bought a reseller account in LA and it is indeed a little patchy, wish I had bought DE instead
Looks like server response has improved and feels snappier, hope the providers fixed what's been slowing the network down.
This, it's a ponzi and will eventually deadpool. I would just pay the $3-5 per month for a proper shared host like @speedypage, less of a motivation for them to get up and run.
I picked up one of the 15€ lifetime packages a few days ago. I chose the DE location, and the performance has been good so far. My use case for it is for small, unimportant sites that I would have previously put on some random free host. The speed so far seems better than free hosts, and there's no annoying monthly login requirement, so I'm satisfied.

Just open a ticket and they can re-create your account on DE or SG. I did that with my LA account and now I have both DE and SG, which are very stable (99.9%+).
To clarify, they won't migrate your data to another server, but they will create a fresh account on another server and delete the old account.

In defence of MikePT... He is running MYW as a one man show, that's one of the only reason why he is able to keep price down. I've been on LA for a while, some issue here and there but it has mostly been a great value. I migrated the SG service to DE a while back because the network in SG for some reason is pretty bad...
In addition, whenever some issue comes up (which, btw, usually isn't MYW's problem to begin with but rather problem with colocation), Miguel is pretty responsive.
My experience is: DE server, very fast responses to tickets and contact forms.
DirectAdmin is working well for me, but I don't use Softaculous or Wordpress so cannot speak about that. My site has 99.95% uptime in the last 90 days, and 99.98% uptime in the last 180 days. My longest incident was 47 minutes long, the average is just 6 minutes.
My SG hosting is fast and good, few minutes of downtime but can't really complain. I am satisfied with MyW.
My experience is good. Mike does an excellent job.
I'll dare to say he's generous in the resources he allocates to the packages.
