Out of 11 available RPi's only 2 people actually properly put in orders and didn't trigger the fraud system.

Keep in mind when putting in orders. We know if you been naughty to other providers as well!

I will "refill" the orders later on today.

    Do you use WHMCS?

Our billing panel is for now.

  • I do find it rather odd that providers 'punish' folks for using a VPN (use billing information and other factors, don't rely on IP address or geographical data), yet OTOH, people are told to use VPN's for 'privacy and security' (sorry for going off-topic, nice offer as always, @DataIdeas-Josh)!

  • Can you notify me when you refill the order?

Am I correct that your Pi Zero (at $2.50/month) is the cheapest dedicated server available on the Internet?

    I can't think of a cheaper one.

Maybe. And the Pi Zero that is available is special compared to the others.

Is not really about punishing use of VPN but as we use the IP data to help compare against the billing address and combat fraud.
We have multiple systems that is active that we use to fight against abuse and fraud.

  • 💯

  • I would strongly recommend to go with Josh for his great ticket response time. I registered the account the other day with an invalid Email address. Josh was very helpful and did quite some work to fix my mistake.

How many 512MB RAM ones were available?

  • Sorry to ask, but why someone would get a hosted Raspberry Pi? What's the use case?

I understand why someone would want to have a Raspberry Pi at home (cheap, small "server", GPIOs, fairly low power consumption etc.).

If it's to be hosted, why not go for a VPS server instead, as opposed to something fairly low spec, not designed to run 24x7 and running off an SD card?

Those generally stay sold out. but there was only 1 in this go around.

I have some Pi 3B+ with a 32GB SD that I'm debating on throwing into the mix again.
We had some more of these but they never sold.

Mostly due to "cheap" VPS comes with CPU limits.
With a RPI. The whole thing is dedicated to you.
Also if you want to add a drive or Thumb drive. You can. Just have to send us one or have it dropped shipped.
