Similar offering

Hello
I am looking into getting a vps like the base offering in this link here.
Basically i want to rdp into a sufficiently sized Ubuntu desktop to continue learning web development. I say sufficiently sized because i might or ight not be hosting a few bots alongside.
I am currently using blink and blink build offering in app but i am still weighing my options hence this post.
I will appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

  • RackNerd's easter deal perhaps? Somewhat similar pricing but they're in the US, and you'll have to contact support for IPv6. Ethernet Servers also have similar pricing but OpenVZ, not sure if your workload is supported on it.

I did look into RackNerd offering, for the most part it’s really appealing but considering the latency connecting to a vps in the U.S will be high from where i will be connecting from + quality of network. I am not so confident the experience will be a nice one. Ideally i want something from EU south preferably Netherlands i guess.
I really do not know what openVZ is, perhaps i should look into that and also Ethernet Servers offering too.

    Keep an eye on:

Plenty locations. Some smallest budgetvps packages are out of stock, but they appear periodically.

Regarding OpenVZ some quick reading: https://www.hostdime.com/blog/kvm-vs-openvz/

  • Thanks

Sure. If your resources allow it.

    But...
Today there's no reason to choose OpenVZ unless host how know what they are doing, they carefully monitor node usage and you get really good price compared to the KVM offers.
