Ryzen 7950X in Warsaw — Hostiko now in Poland too

JabJabJabJab Member
edited January 2023 in General

They not really LowEndTalk budget providers (I mean Ryzen smallest plan 1c/2GB/30 GB NVMe is within pricing rules, for Xeon is much more), but they here @hostiko and sometimes have nice -50% promos :-)

Plus it's first 7950X based VPS seen here in the wild, right? ^.-

Our new location is now the capital of Poland — Warsaw. Being relatively near from Ukraine and having excellent latency in this direction, this site is perfect for the uninterrupted resources operation focused on the Ukrainian audience.

Intel Xeon based VPS, as well as the latest AMD Ryzen 9 ones, which will increase the speed of resources to unprecedented speeds, are already available for the order.

  • I currently run a few 7950x nodes for vps servers, but i am not a provider. I do it mostly for friends and stuff. However, i can benchmark for you with different specs if you want to see

Heres a yabs i ran just now on one of the nodes. This isnt idling though, so real numbers should be a little higher.

Talk to them, theyre part of Path.net.

Are Warsaw VPSes 10Gbps unmetered? I don't see any traffic info on website.

No, the traffic is not unmetered. But we do not have traffic limits, all decisions about limits are made manually. For example, if the cost of the traffic you consume is more than the cost of your tariff, we will have to limit you.

signed up account waiting for 7950X deals!

was actually surprised that a provider takes it up this soon, seeing that 5950X is a better choice in terms of price, same core count, power consumption.

edit: looks like 7950X is not much more expensive?

They look much better on performance/price ratio. The only thing is that DDR5 is almost twice as expensive as DDR4, but that's an investment for the future.
