Looking many Dedi Server can allow download torrent

Hello,

I need the server can download torrent file (video) to server then encode it. Ofc not public those file after downloaded.

Require spec:
Dual E5-2690 v3/v4
64GB RAM ECC
2x 2TB SSD or 2x 1TB NVMe
1 IPv4 + IPv6
20TB in 1Gbps Port
Location in EU is good
Budget $120/m

    These chips are powerhungry, It may be difficult to find what you are looking for in EU at this price.
    Best bet would be going to cheap dedi providers like Hetzner and using a VPN(like Mullvad, which provides port fowarding and will work well for torrening - and is only $5 a month).

    im using aria2c for download torrent but they not support the VPN/Socks5. So looking other server can allow download torrent.

    @jazz1611 FWIW, it supports HTTP & FTP proxies.

    And if you need to use a VPN that doesn't provide proxies you can create your own HTTP proxy and tunnel it through the VPN.

    the Budget 120-150 USD/month. Ryzen 5950x is good too.

    The issue here is 64GB RAM and CPU... You will need ti push to 140€ 160€ or more.

    Those allow torrent and are safe to do that. Maybe they offer a special discount? Contact them.

    Those providers allow torrent / trackers etc and some ignore dmca (i think they also can do custom solution for you)

    Would Ryzen 5900x work for you?
    We should immediately have several in stock these i believe. If not 4-6 weeks delivery.

    ECC is hit and miss with Ryzens (depends on the motherboard etc), so will not guarantee that.

    we still get some torrent report when download via aria2c in Hetzner. aria2c is compatible with PHP scripts so we need to use it. qBittorrent doesn't support CLI like aria2c so we don't integrate into PHP code

    Same as the 5900x otherwise. I think we might have 1-2 in stock, every time we have to order it's a 6 week lead time.

    Don't you know Hetzner does not allow public trackers? Once you get an abuse ticket, they will lock your server and they won't unlock it.

    im using aria2c for download torrent but they not support the VPN/Socks5. So looking other server can allow download torrent.

    Run the torrent client in a network namespace with WireGuard vpn. Might find it easier to use your favourite container solution such as nspawn, docker, etc

    Easy reverse proxy from any of this providers to Hetzner.

    I wouldn't recommend that, if Hetzner knows that they will suspend and probably don't give you time to backup. But is what a lot of people does with OVH, Hetzner and other to save €€.

    Those providers that I mention and others here allows that. Why going for Hetzner? I know they are cheap, but cheap doesn't mean that they ignore dmca or allow torrent.
