I checked them some time ago and from what I remember, it was giving green light. May be a bug or something.

Chill out buddy, you are likely not aware but WHMCS licensing system is a piece of shit and glitches like that happen - just use a search function on LET.

Hey sorry if i hurt your feeling, i didnt mean to hurt you. but that is what i found. it not a valid license. i used to check the other web host domain and they all valid. only the OP domain is not. i dont think it is a WHMCS license check error.

Even if they had an active license, there are other unknown factors/criteria that are checked that could still show it as “not authorized”.

Maybe OP still on the trial time, i believe, he ask for if it ready on LET and purchase license late after trial end, who know!!

But right now, all i found is still not ready until the license problem need to be solve. Yep that it, all i want.

They'd greatly reduce false positives if they showed if/when it was last licensed so that it's easy to tell if they were recently phoning home or never have. Seeing it was last licensed in the last week points to cron or server fuckup.

It's ongoing bad behavior like this that reflects poorly on WHMCS. I have no tolerance for being known to be shitty and doing nothing about it.

If this is a cron job failing to run on provider side, I think using a healthcheck.io hook might catch when this happens on occasion.

Surely, it can't be that hard to add to a script checking that your server is properly showing as licensed.

  • i guess you are ready for LET army inspection. so far not good.

  • The price is not competitive

Just an FYI, the WHMCS licence checker is not accurate and should not be relied upon. I've had my WHMCS license show as "Unauthorized" even though I was clearly paying for it. I had to reissue the license for the problem to be fixed.

It doesn't matter if it shows as authorized on other hosting providers, that doesn't mean it's being accurate for all providers. I've had it be inaccurate many times.

There are also numerous other threads/posts on WHT and LET about the same issue happening to other hosts. I'm not sure why it happens. However, it's a bit damaging to a host's reputation when it does happen.

This could be the case here.

  • Price is not ready

  • Price is not LET friendly, wtf is $10 monthly for OVZ virt, people here expect $10 VZ machine to be yearly

  • Crazy expensive. At that price point, AWS spot instances might be cheaper with same specs, or people can simply grab Vultr/ DO instances.

My sweet lordy! $20 per month for 2GB OpenVZ and 50GB storage??? You're a few months early for the April Fools jokes!

You might do well to examine the kind of prices other providers offers here on LET and then re-assess whether you can make a profit at those prices. Because I can pretty much guarantee you'll have no customers at these prices!

For the same price as this one I quoted above, I have a KS-LE-1 dedi with 32GB of RAM, 8 CPU threads, 2TB of disk and I don't have to suffer with OpenVZ.

For comparable specs, I have the Inception BF deal, which also has KVM not OpenVZ, instead of unspecified bandwidth, it has a whopping 18TB per month, the same 50GB storage... for $25 per year.

Even the premium-iest of the premium, Hybula, I have 4 GB, 4 vCPU, 10TB per month on 2Gbps uplink on one of the best networks around, again 50GB storage. All this for $30 per 3 months.

All of these deals are so far, far ahead of what you're offering in quality, and have the benefit of a great reputation, whilst being a fraction of the price.

The KS-LE-1 deals and such are kind of edge cases, but yeah. I don't generally like calling things "expensive" especially as the level of support, uptime, general quality, etc can vary depending on price & hosting provider. However, if these are unmanaged VPS's, they are definitely "above average" in pricing.

$10/month for an OpenVZ 1GB of RAM instance does seem quite excessive, there are easily premium options available such as Misaka, Vultr, Linode, etc with (presumably) lots more features like Snapshots, Hourly Billing, Backups, Block Storage, and a lot more. If the VPS's that OP is offering are managed on the other hand, then the price is a lot more justifiable, but that's not clear based on the page.
