Is he picking this provider because it has a template that includes zerotier preinstalled and so he'll jump through ordering/payment hoops to skip that step?

Not gonna lie that's pretty funny.

Bro (OP) just install the software on a more local VPS. You know your bandwidth from Australia to Russia is going to be complete ass anyway.

because crypto is a scam! LOL

    Crypto is scam? lol wut
made 2m$ in 2021 from crypto and now sitting in bank, life-changing scam if it is

    Case in point.

  • @IziD said: Moral - you will be supporting Russian war in Ukraine. Company will pay taxes which are used to sustain Putin's military and ongoing warfare.

I mean if people really cared about that, lots of countries would be off limits. for eg: USA

Yeah, I totally believe you because I'm a $trillionaire myself. Enjoy your $2m that's just sitting in the bank.

Would be nice to see some LET motivation day with banks having m$, not from google pics.

I wouldn't say crypto is scam, it's a gambling/casino. Some lose money and some win money, the minority win. As the same thing happens in gambling.

  • @IziD said: Technical - chance of enforcing any resemblance of lawfulness onto Russian business is near zero.

Just curious - has there been a notable instance of scam operation involving a Russian provider? Most of the grand deadpools featured here have originated from nowhere else than the U.S. of A.

Just curious, do you know how many more providers are based in the U.S. compared to those from Russia here on LET?

Obviously several, if not several hundred times more.

@IziD alleges that Russian hosts are completely lawless (let's just ignore that 2 arguments earlier he contradicted himself by saying they pay taxes to fund Putin's war), so there should be no shortage of people screwed by Russian providers. If Romania which has like 3 hosts can generate that much notoriety here, it should be a piece of cake for the largest country in the world, right?

The same argument again, fucking hell.

Even the fucking Ukraine, was/is paying Russian money for GAS.
The EU is paying them directly or by proxy for Gas and OIL, same does the US.

And you worry about a 2$ russian vps? gaaaaaaah
