    Why 2core - 4 gb ram?

3GB RAM, double resources when prepay 2 years

  • $90 per year, $160 per two years (doubled RAM + 500GB bandwidth for two year payments)

I misread the parameters of ram and swap. But I remember only doubling the ram + 500gb of bandwidth, not doubling the cpu.

Thank you everyone for your business. There were some initial hiccups with the Hong Kong Storage VMs that have now been fully resolved.

If your VM did not boot since it was setup, please reinstall it and it will work.

I will go through the thread and answer any other questions in a follow up post.

Hong Kong is our first APAC location where we are introducing storage VMs. We plan to deploy them in Singapore and Sydney in the near future as well.

Question: Do u have in plan in near future Epyc compute instances in these location also? (HK, SNG & Sydney)
(Yes NFS intended with these strgs)

    Thanks for the answer

Yes, there will be some available soon. Please get them while they are available - because we really have limited capacities in every location (if you go to create a new VM now, you will see 6 locations are already out of stock, and that is without any promotions in the past 12 months)

I would suggest higher bandwidth vs storage supplied. Bandwidth is in+out and very easy to run into bandwidth limits.

Years ago, I had a 150GB VPS with 600GB BW and would go over the limit often as well as tried to keep bandwidth down.

Due to the transit costs in Hong Kong, we can't really do any better than this in in the same price. Additional bandwidth for an additional cost is always available if needed. We do offer higher bandwidth limits in other locations.

  • When will Japan be available?

  • @hosthatch Will there be any special offer this Black Friday?I have been waiting for you for a year

  • @hosthatch Will this HK storage offer be restocked this Black Friday?

  • @hosthatch said: These plans will no longer be available after 13th November.

@hosthatch said: There will be other locations available on Black Friday, but at no point do we plan to sell servers in Hong Kong priced lower than these offers.
