    Around 300W power?

    The average power price in NL and Germany is OVER 0.50c/kWh on contracts;

That would mean it would be just 109.57 euro per month for just the 300W of power, and power contracts of DC's are expiring so expect even higher pricing. Excluding the calculation of the rack cost, network cost, etc.

I could do 30€ with redundant Power, 2 TB Traffic on Gbits, but without power usage (price for the power would 20€ per 100W, so 60€ for 300W).

We are located in the Netherlands near the German border in Eygelshoven.
Please note that it could happen that we need to change the price for the power, but we will let our customers know at least 3 month before a change happens.

This is the price just for the power... then you're asking for free colocation, bw and DDoS protection.

    Don’t think it’s included.

My linked offer was less than his minimum.

Prices will around what you are looking for, maybe a little more. But that is the price that I usually know.

Maybe @HostSlick ? I don't know if their prices increased but they were in that budget last time I asked.

+1 too for nforce, But I am not sure if they have ddos protection

And maybe check Serverius they are known to be the cheapest usually, probably not anymore.

Are you really, really sure you can't rent a suitable server somewhere? I would really avoid colo in EU nowadays... the last couple of years haven't been the best for Colo (hardware shortage), and not in Europe and definitely not the next 1-2 years...(power prices)...

I've had a colo there soon for 2 years, their DDoS protection is not something to rely on, especially if you're running a targeted service.

Otherwise a decent provider with a good price.

Everyone who wants DDoS Protection, needs to understand. There is not 100% protection against all layers attack, rules need to be made and updated. Some hosts or colocation might not work due to different and each ddos protection as a custom made for each single project like Gaming Servers etc.

Most of DDoS Attacks, happens because of Discord discussions and offenses with other members and communities. Avoid that, you will see how less discussions and fighting with other members of other communities or discords it will decrease your DDoS Attacks.

Of course main target are usually Game Servers, for this purpose you should use a DDoS Protection that have a custom and target to block DDoS Attacks against certain protocols and gaming servers.

About Inleed specifically, they surely do have a decent DDoS protection. They use their own networking setup (they're even an ISP), and they host thousands of websites.

Them not having protection would mean all of those services including the thousands of websites just dies.

However, no way they include that kind of protection for colo clients paying 38 € / mon (with power INCLUDED).

Now, if they want to sell great protection, I have no idea, but they certainly could.

Please allow me to illustrate the full picture. Here are the details:

    300W = 216KW hours per month

1KW per hour per month, on average, costs 50 cents
i.e., 108 euros per month spent only on electricity, whereas
the average cost of a unit is 15 bucks.
If you want 2 units, that comes up to 30 bucks a month

Sorry but most likely, you will not find a provider for 60-80 bucks per month + DDoS Protection

    1U

    1 GBit/s Uplink

    100 Watt power consumption
    1 x A-Feed Socket
    USV protected power supply

    29,99 € per month
    39,99 € setup

On the basis of the enquiry, I do not understand what needs to be changed here in the list offer, especially as we always calculate from the offers on the website anyway.

10 € per month for 50W more (We calculate the average consumption of the system during the boot process for such small colocation customers)
    4 € per TB Traffic or https://www.kts24.com/about/traffic for a Flatrate between 10 MBit/s and 10 GBit/s

Feel free to contact our support if you need mor information.

  • People wants cheap colocation with energy price increasing maybe also setup for free? Delivery and shipping included in 39€? Maybe installation also included for free.

Perhaps is better just to pay a half of network other half is included for free...

There are providers with Pricing pretty decent and very cheap than the normal. If you want more cheap than this forget.

@terrahost Norway has pretty solid colo offer with solid anti-ddos and enough bandwidth for under 50€/m

    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/183345/terrahost-colocation-special-in-norway-electricity-pricing-locked

    https://lg.terrahost.com/

    Single server colocation:

    1U Colo - 175W - 100TB @ 1Gbps - €49/mo
    2U Colo - 175W - 100TB @ 1Gbps - €59/mo
    3U Colo - 175W - 100TB @ 1Gbps - €69/mo
    4U Colo - 175W - 100TB @ 1Gbps - €79/mo

    €12.5/mo per 100W additional power
    €10/mo for a 10G port

    Full rack colocation:
    42U Rack - 1kW - 1Gbps Unmetered @ 10G Port - €499/mo (Setup fee €400)

    €100/mo per 1kW additional power

They also said on the thread that they allow some leniency with 175W

Im likely sending my 1U over soon. I need to configure it a bit before contacting them.

    1U Colo - 175W - 100TB @ 1Gbps - €49/mo + 10G port €10/mo would be €59/m for 100TB @ 10Gbps with anti-ddos quoted bellow:

We use WANGuard L4 filtering in all our locations. Corero L7 to come. All locations have multiple 100G and we can filter a lot before null routing anything.

Not to mention this is a provider that hosts the current KiwiFarms thats the most censored website right now. It's pretty secure and stable I would assume.

That might be a tough one, especially as you're probably not looking for a cheapie but for a professional service.

As for electric power costs, let me offer a glimpse of light in the (currently) dark tunnel: There is quite a bit of variety within EUrope; not every country has the insane el. power costs Germany has (and btw. not just since the sanctions war but traditionally). NL, for instance, has somewhat lower costs and there are even cheaper countries.

Which also is valid for Norway and one of the reasons why I'd have a look at @terrahost. Also not many providers offer their level of connectivity (@Hybula likely being at the top in that regard) and terrahost's support also is quite good and responsive. @combahton_it (who it seems haven't been active here for quite some time) might be an option too but being Germany based likely too expensive.
