This was explained in the previous offer.

@EthernetServers said: We provision these manually upon request to help avoid wasting IPv4 assets.

They don't complicate or anything. If you feel like you need or want it all you need to do is to open ticket and request it and it will be assigned quickly. All good here.

@blackhiden I don't know how to respond to that :)

English isn't your first language, right?
Well, it surely isn't mine but you basically posted how client requested 2nd IP and then host response where client's request was granted and 2nd IP added without any complications.

    1. can I get 2nd IP for order number 4136256777
    2. yes, 2nd IP has been added

What's not clear to you here? :)

  • grabbed one. could you please check order num 1539391466 and add the additional IP? thanks in advance

  • Good host, no complaints. I would have thought that they would have noted in their offer that ports 22, 25, 465, 587 are blocked by default. I have had their OpenVZ 1 GB plan in Secaucus, NJ for a couple of years.

    Fresh yabs

    To clarify:

Port 22 inbound is blocked. Outbound is not blocked. Can be opened upon request.
Port 25 outbound is blocked. Inbound is not blocked. Can be opened upon request.
Port 465 and 587 are not blocked at all (inbound or outbound).

I like how a non-low end host comes here and suddenly drops the best offer in years.
Just in IP's alone, this offer is certainly a banger.

  • @EthernetServers said: Port 22 inbound is blocked. Outbound is not blocked. Can be opened upon request.

When I change the SSH port to 22, it couldn't be connected. Maybe I have to open a ticket?
    Nice service btw.

Absolutely no need for ticket here.
Use Serial Console (HTML 5 console) via SolusVM control panel and change port to something different by yourself.
(don't forget to restart/reload sshd after port change)

Ya, I knew how to solve this case, but I want the port 22 for SSH.

I would just like to say I normally stay away from openvz however I've seen good reviews here for ethernet servers and signed up about a week ago George has helped migrate and even resolved a speed issue with my vps (turns out it was a node issue)

Very happy customer and its cheaper than my current managed VPS

He doesn't complicate things with can you do this that etc etc (I've jumped right through hoops before trying to get network speed issues resolved)

That was a strange one... not entirely sure why it ended up like that, but I've re-deployed it and verified that the IP responds fine, and added your 2nd IP :) Thanks for the order!
