btw by default they add a broken repo to the ubuntu 16.04 image (possibly also the 18.04 image, didn't test), you can safely remove it by removing /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cloudfoundry-cli.list
Cool! But the project seems kind of outdated/abandoned.
On 18.04, both cloudfoundry and heroku are broken
rm -rf /etc/apt/sources.list.d/* && apt update
30 GB RAM? Is it for real?
Now the whole china knows it’s there
yes but for heroku just update the apt key and it will work. the other one has no up-to-date key
Better than Free Windows NT 4 VPS and Shellhost Cloud project
calling #LET_Detectives for security audit and NO_TINYWEASEL_CONNECTION certificate
shit. goorm is a great service if you need a linux shell really fast. They do seem to have strict abuse checking system though (I tried YABSing it, and I got suspended right away for "network abuse").
Anyway, great to see a Korean provider showing up on a global forum
BTW, Goorm stands for Cloud in Korean.
Oh lol thanks for the heads up. I was about to run YABS
lmao
A mammal will use this as a throwaway VPS. I feel sorry for the provider now.
mine shows 8GB RAM
Oh also
Hmmm maybe things changed after that?
Nope I got a ban for yabs
I love how you try so hard to appear to be different.
how many free containers per account?
5 but one running at a time
Iirc it’s 5 but the always on option is only available for 1.
and 1 concurrect run so it's 1 at a time and 5 in total.
Goorm has been around for quite some time.
Still remember that after the takeover of cloud9.io by AWS, Goorm was the only available alternative left which had a free tier.
Thanks. How many ports available per account?
Yet somehow still sticks out like a sore thumb, it's like it can't go past 5 minutes without being edgy.
Well guys, what seems to be the catch here for this free NAT VPS ?
Did mods do a cleanup of this thread?
Also, @dane_doherty flow logging is a thing in most services of this kind.
I've been using goorm for years now, and from what I can tell, there's no catch on this offer. You are limited to really low system resources (1GB ram and really limited CPU usage), and you might get suspended for high bandwidth usage (AWS bandwidth is expensive).
That might change, if people run all sorts of stuffs though.
Isn't being natted enough for you?
It appears to be mainly for Korean people, lets see how they deal with the load
What is flow logging and why should I care?
Must be tiring
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/flow-logs.html, inevitably when you want to use said NAT VPS for "various purposes".
seems like its random, i got 8gb lmao
It depends on the node, I also got 8GB
