How are they abusing them?
@mcgree are you a Russian spy ?
He is already banned. Don't communicate with e-corpse.
I really just want to use a VPN 24/7 to prevent stuff like this, but it's quite unfortunate that a lot of sites mark you as fraud or will outright block your access.
Oh well, maybe I'm just being paranoid. They've probably collected a ton of IP's (if it's a logger) and I doubt they would do a large scale attack
Sites that do not ban you for being on VPN:
Sites that ban you for being on VPN:
I change the router MAC address weekly to get different IPv4.
Nevertheless, if someone figures out the hostname that points to my router, they can track me easily.
Ahem "certificate transparency" ahem.
As usual, if you attack me, you will be reported for inclusion on the naughty list.
Interested. Can this be achieved by paying in bilohbucks?
You made the naughty list, but this needs to stop.
Self signed ahem ahem.
If you pay CA's bilohbucks they won't send your name on CT log.(not all CA)
So he was a Russian spy !
I got null-routed by the ISP for an hour …

Don't browsers nowadays treat certificates without attached SCT as insecure?
Why do you have flight mode on? How will you receive calls?
Currently only Chrome is maybe strict with enforcing CT AFAIK. Firefox don't enforce this. Also by default on Chromium this is not enforced, it's up to the developer who forked Chromium(Brave, MS Edge, Vivaldi).
Also private CA's are exception to this.
It's up to the website to enforce CT in Firefox by adding an extra header.
One way to test this is BadSSL.
My test:
Firefox: No warning
Brave: No warning
Chrome: Warning

I publish Google Voice number only.
Incoming calls ring the Google Voice app, which works on WiFi and does not need GSM connection.
The SIM card is only for Internet access while outside.
Notice to naughty people:
Please do not call my phone number with automated dialer.
Spam calling is a violation of FCC regulations.
What are the benefits of being on your naughty list other than push up videos ?
Naughty list is the place you do not want to be.
On Christmas, good kids receive presents, while naughty kids receive lump of coal.
Get a better VPN, the one I use is never blocked even by netflix
I don’t mind getting coal if it is in large quantities.
When you are wearing your best white shirt, a lump of coal appears in front of you and breaks into a billion pieces of microscopic dust.
The coal dust enters between every string of fabric on your white shirt.
At the same time, somebody turns on their garden hose, further setting the black dust into your white shirt.
Now your best white shirt is soaked in coal dust and it's forever ruined.
You rip open the shirt but find your chest muscle too small to be impressive.
You spend the rest of your life doing push-ups until your chest grows to an intimidating size.
You are finally ready to duel @tinyweasel at dawn.
Just go to the local shop or order online. Oh wait, you still live in a backwards state, right?
On broadband, many people get the same IPv4 assigned for the life of the modem and depending how the replacement is provisioned, it may take the same IP after replacement.
Plus, people use VPN's instead of unsecured WiFi. So, your "most people nowadays" is meaningless without stats.
Also, knowing someone's IP could lead to DoS or hacking attempts.
What are they doing, molesting the IP's?
Oh shit, we're in for a bad Christmas.
If I had to guess I’d say someone on LET got my IP again. Let the DDOS attacks roll, again. Bastards made me die in call of duty while I switched the firewalla to the backup internet. #firstworldproblems
I temporarily pointed my router hostname to Evolution Host that is impossible to DDoS.
My residential connection has been fine since then.
I'm confused, how did they get your router host name or did you make that public?
Mass deployment
Well its good either way I guess but I have a fear that they are gonna use up a lot of IPv6 addresses

Me who has a CG-NAT
Ahem "certificate transparency" ahem.
