Yeah it does seem like at least some of that VPN fund should go toward a company that has a stake in keeping enough IPs clean for streaming purposes. Keepsolid and FastestVPN seem like the best bang for the buck among lifetime deals. And there's also Windscribe with their $1 a month per location plan (minimum 2 locations).

Racknerd sucks for VPN imo, they use colocrossing IP's

And what is actually the problem of colocrossing IP's?

403 error on netflix, captacha on google

    Hi guys,
I need several small VMs just for Wireguard, nothing else.
I am not going to torrent (got Pulsed Media Seedbox) nor any other illegal stuff including hosting porn. I need them to for example bypass regional locks to watch regional matches  and sometimes Netflix movies that are not available in Poland
Don't suggest Oracle Cloud, please, I already have VMs there in Frankfurt

    My requirements are:

    • any CPU/vCPU (can be 20% dedicated or less, I don't care, burst will be required for initial configuration, up to 1 hour)
    • at least 256MB RAM
    • any disk with any space
    • At least 100Mbit flat bandwidth with at least 2TB transfer (lower for Americas is accepted)
    • IP can be shared (I will need only SSH (XXX22) and Wireguard port, nothing else
    • KVM Preferred, OVZ/LXC would be OK only if wireguard (including TUN/TAP) is supported and Kernel is at least 5.10
    • Any payment (I do not pay in crypto as I don't need to be "anonymous")

Locations I have: Romania, Germany (x2), Finland and US (NYC)

Locations I am looking for are:

    • US East/South, for example Florida
    • Europe Central (Netherlands, UK)
    • Europe West (Spain)
    • North Americas (any in northern US & Canada)
    • South America (anywhere, close to CR preferred)

My budget is up to 60$/year for all of them, so about 10-12$/year per each.

512 MB KVM VPS (New Year 2022)

    1x vCPU Core
10 GB PURE SSD RAID-10 Storage
    512 MB RAM
    1000GB Monthly Premium Bandwidth
    1Gbps Public Network Port
    Full Root Admin Access
    1 Dedicated IPv4 Address
KVM / SolusVM Control Panel - Reboot, Reinstall, Manage rDNS,

Racknerd sucks for VPN imo, they use colocrossing IP's

Depends what you need to do with the VPN I guess. The issue of having Google needing you to complete captcha etc is a pain, but that depends on the IP in my experience.

Yep, something is wrong with their IP, I have the same issue as @dahartigan . This is the only IP that has problems with Google. Two IPs have problems with Netflix, but I don't care. I will tag them as #Normal and #Movies and that's it

    Currently:
Canada (Gullo Hosting): Netflix Blank Page
Germany (Oracle Cloud): Netflix Works like a charm
Romania (Hazi.RO): Netflix works like a charm
    US (RackNerd): Netflix Blank Page

For now, seems like Netflix does not work in RackNerd and OVH in Canada, but that is not the problem
I will also check OVH in Frankfurt and Hetzner in Finland later on.

Oracle cloud works only if db-ip.com shows up the organization of IP as "Oracle Corporation", not "Oracle Public Cloud", you might have to shuffle a few IP's until it says that. As for gullo and racknerd, OVH and colocrossing ASN's are blacklisted by netflix, you get a 403 on the web and a lot of errors in thw mobile apps

Thanks but this is way above my budget per node :disappointed: I also don't want to take resources I will not use, because 2GB of RAM, 50GB SSD is way too high specs for me

Keepsolid is great. FastestVPN should also work as a budget alternative :) If you want to circumvent geo restrictons (esp Flix) it should be way more comfortable to just use a commercial VPN provider (like those mentioned) to take care of this. They'll make sure it keeps working (if your vps ip gets blacklisted you need to search for a new provider).

More and more streaming providers are blocking the IPs of hosting providers. IMO you'd be better off with a VPN provider that's more stealthy about their IP allocations, or one that uses residential IPs (which is very rare, but FastestVPN does this with their "streaming" servers for example)

Is it problem when IP has other geo location/whois in databases?
    For example Bulgaria or Seychelles

If not I can provide Netherlands KVM VPS with ddos protection up to 2tbit.

you should try something like mysterium maybe if you need to bypass regional locks.

Mysterium is VERY expensive. Windscribe works fine for streaming and it's really cheap if you get the black friday deal.

For sure, but i think mysterium has those residential ip's so it'll 100% work.

    Windscribe does too*
*They use datacenter IP's but route streaming traffic through residential IP's. Also cheaper VPN's have residential IP's like FastestVPN.

If you don't search an VM to host an VPN for illegal stuff go to nordvpn.
