If they don't have a website and a proper ordering system you can check, you need to be very, very careful.

The service stopping in a few months is the least of your worries, I'd worry about handing over the money and not even getting a service.

Just name the members offering the deals here - you don't have to mention the details of the deals, but if the providers are reputable they won't mind you mentioning their names here.

They both got websites and they're Avoro.eu with PHP-Friends (Both companies they told me) and HyperHostSolutions.com

Maybe you or someone in the community got experience with one of them?

I personally have not heard of them but let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you do get your service when you pay. But there's two concerns.

    1. Can you really push 200 Mbps constantly?
    2. 17 Tbps ddos protection on this budget? If it sounds too good to be true...

On this forum, any provider with a Host Rep tag can publicly reply with a suitable offer to a request in a Request thread (like this one), so there's really no need for a provider with a Host Rep to resort to private mails in this case, so I would generally treat such private mails with caution.

That said, Avoro have a good reputation (PHP-Friends do as well).

I don't know about HyperHostSolutions.com -- perhaps someone else here does.

Both Avoro.eu and HyperHostSolutions.com have an immediate danger sign - the whois information is hidden for the domain registration. There is usually no good reason for a reputable business to do this, and it is a requirement of trading on LET that you have public whois information, so be careful, as you don't know who's actually running these services.

I haven't used either personally, so can't vouch for them I'm afraid.

This has actually been done automatically by our domain provider, we have no interest in it - our data is of course in the imprint as well as in the German commercial register (https://www.northdata.de/dataforest+GmbH,+Kriftel/Amtsgericht+Frankfurt+am+Main+HRB+126208). I will check this once, thanks for the notice.

As already written via PN we can recommend our easter special at avoro.eu.

Thank you all by the way, i'm glad you're all helping me finding infos and more about new hosting providers, i didn't expected such a nice community, this is great :)

It’s amazing what can happen when you politely ask a reasonable question and have a reasonable budget for your request.

While polite, this request seems rather confusing. Wants a "storage server" but plans to run multiple game servers on it without even mentioning CPU or ram requirements. Only mention is disk space and insanely traffic which would near impossible to utilize by any 2 game servers.

Storage servers are notorious for having near unusable performance for anything other than backups, with oversubscribed CPUs and terrible IO wait times. Such a server would be completely useless for hosting game servers.

I'm sorry for that, my requirements were at least 2/4 vcores and about 8 or more gbs of RAM, i'm asking for traffic cause i don't wanna deal with running out of it to be honest.

That said i'm trying my way with Avoro and their Easter offer since they seems reliable, i would be happy to make a positive feedback if i'd consider the service a good one during my experience but it's too early now

We merged earlier this year with Avoro, so only using this account now :) Waiting for LET to change the name to our new company name.

One would need to go back a few years -- perhaps the whois was public back then. But who knows ...

Yes, one label Prepaid, one label with normal contracts but both are the same company (and GmbH) behind.

  • Avoro are highly reputable, the merger was announced openly some time back, and the service is excellent. If you are getting a good offer from them it should be seriously considered.

I'm actually their customer, it's early to talk about feedbacks but atm i'm having a great experience specially about their network specs, i'd like to thank everyone who has replied to this thread, otherwise i wouldn't have been able to find a service to fit my requirements, you all have been very helpful

Oh i guess it was for my bandwidth requirements haha, well i'll make it more clear, in my gameserver i got players from any country, some would also be quite far so having a nice network means a lot for their high ping when they got to download a lot of client files and compensate for their far distance.
Also players should load some client files every 2-3 minutes and they can take some space tho, that's why i wanna be sure to have something stable and fast :D

Hello, i need a windows VPS with decent DDOS protections against L4 attacks and a lot of storage, like at least 200 gb (Preferably with at least a SSD just for OS, i don't mind my files being in HDD then), unmetered bandwidth at least 150/200 mbps hosted in Europe (Germany or France) around 10/15 euros or anything similar, reliable and stable ping
Would any service offer something like this?

I already tried Wishosting and it was great but sadly the ping got some several spikes despite the service being really good

    Hey,

I can recommend you our Storage KVM Rootserver-Portfolio: https://signaltransmitter.de/en/rent-a-storage-kvm-server

Here you're getting a HDD Storage with SSD CacheCade Technology to accelerate the IO Access :)

The cheapest one is our Storage KVM Small for 8,99 EUR / Month
