OVH false advertising for Enterprise NVME ?

So OVH is indicating that their RISE servers come with
2x SSD NVMe 512GB Enterprise Class Soft RAID
But in fact the server come equipped with WD SN720 NVME disks
This disks are not enterprise class, they are just oem version with mediocre endurance

Ask them. May be a mistake. It happends when you run thousands of servers.

-Or, maybe they mean the Soft RAID is enterprise class?

At least they didn’t give you an Intel P3520 (almost all the SYS NVMes use this), might as well be a sata ssd

How much endurance do you need? Just run RAID 1 and get the disks replaced as they fail. OVH has misrepresented hardware/network specs for years, if you're not cool with what they give you, just point it out and you may be eligible for a refund.

There looks to be 2 variants, the "CL" SN720 (Datacenter) and the "PC" SN720 (Consumer). If you have the CL model then it is a datacenter drive.
