yeah as you can see above... I meanwhile found and even bought it. damn FOMO. don't need it at all LOL.

  • By the way, if you've put a deal in your cart and it disappeared, you can open the same link from your history (even if you just clicked on it to see the specs)
This is because the link does not expire (it worked for me 3 hours later) and even if you find the same deal on another page later, it's gonna be the same link / secretkey

to be fair I wouldn't call it a huge disappointment. those 4k GB5 is still a lot for the money and also 480GB ssd is very nice. I am not unhappy after all, gonna think of something to put on that little bugger for sure ;-)

also about the comparison to the RS2000, it's a tradeoff I'd say depending on your needs for RAM vs disk. good thing, that comparable prices more or less still offer something like that.

Exactly. To each his own. Not necessarily a bad deal if the specs fit with your use case...

  • Whats the CPU on eastern22, if not the same?

Its always the same at netcup, if you dont order a intel vps.

    Epyc 7702p.

In the smallest RS which is the high difference in 4K IOPS? I have near 40+40 MB/s (R+W), but I saw here higher and lower speeds. Is it depends on the SSD disk space?

And another, where located the eastern RS instances? I not see option to change in the details page.

It depends on the load of the node. Right now, alot of new customers are installing their shit, and benchmarking it to death. Give it some days to stabilize.

to add to that, in general their vserver lineup (VPS) has a higher density than what is to be expected from their root servers (RS) , so that expectation should translate into iops.
I've seen consistently high transferrates on 1MB blocksize, but 4k iops tend to vary much more on their vservers, though something in the range of 15k-30k is usually good enough for everything.
