    Hasn’t this been miss-sold?

    If the server isn’t supposed to come with 2x6TB, surely it should be advertised as a 2xwhatver but currently has 2x6TB?

    Lucky here, too. Ordered an AX51 with 2x8TB in Falkenstein last month, instead got two brand new 12TB drives. No setup fee, too.

    Yup I got in HEL 2x12TB instead 8TB.. brand new, enterprisy (can't remember brand/model, to lazy to SSH)

    Due to Hetzner's inability to create VMs (MAC address restriction), I will transfer my last AX41, if you are interested, please contact me ! :)

    You can create VMs, but you need to know how ..., just set up pfsense and create a local network.

  • Just use a routed, not a bridged setup

    Here is how to set it up correctly. By setting it up like this, won't have to set any MAC addresses at all. It works:

    https://community.hetzner.com/tutorials/install-and-configure-proxmox_ve/de

    Host:

    # /etc/network/interfaces
    ### Hetzner Online GmbH - installimage
    # Loopback device:
    auto lo
    iface lo inet loopback

    # device: enp1s0
    auto enp1s0
    iface enp1s0 inet static
      address <Haupt-IP>
      netmask 255.255.255.255
      pointopoint <Gateway-IP>
      gateway <Gateway-IP>

    iface enp1s0 inet6 static
      address <Adresse aus dem IPv6-Subnetz> #z.B. 2001:db8::2
      netmask 128
      gateway fe80::1
      up sysctl -p
