Looking for a server in Germany with BGP
Hello,
I'm currently looking for a dedicated server in Germany (preferably Frankfurt, nearby locations might also work) in order to setup GRE tunneling.
Requirements:
- Decent Network
- Decent DDoS Mitigation
- 1G on 10G (95th percentile)
- BGP Supported
I don't currently have a budget at the moment since I am still looking around for offers. Also, I don't plan on frequently getting DDoS attacks, but it would be nice to have decent mitigation just in case.
We can discuss an offer in private if preferred.

@Clouvider @combahton_it @vserversite @sthosting
don't forget @ruben (iFog.ch)
Hey!
we got several Dedis in our Portfolio: https://signaltransmitter.de/en/server/rent-a-dedicated-server
You will get a full 1 Gbps Port with Traffic Fair use flat (around 50 TB per month..)
All our servers are also DDoS Protected.
Cheers,
Marco from ST-Hosting Team

If wanting to GRE-tunnel along, I have a feeling someone is bound to avoid paying for IPv4 with Hetzner?
Either way, @Clouvider or @Zare are solid choices :-)
If you are after the GRE part, maybe a tunnel directly by Bandwidth/Zare is a good option? https://bandwidth.co.uk/connectivity/ddos-protection
Hey @Advin feel free to get in touch with me, DDoS-Protection and BGP Sessions are available with our AS30823.
Can anyone ELI5 what is "bgp session" exactly ?
Check path.net and thier brand tempest.net or just buy buyvm.net in luxemburg for 3,5$ /m + 3$ /m for path.net AntyDDoS IP (thay have a lot of game filters ready). Thay also have BGP and protect your own IP's.
Allow your own IP addresses to be used, for example from Ripe.net. Then you can set the entire address class / 24 (~254 addresses) to one server and then at a low price be able to provide them to clients as GRE tunnel.
Have a look at my request from last year: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/174996/vserver-with-bgp-europe
I`m happy with vserversite until now
We can do it in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf in Germany, network via AS3214
