Unless you stick with reputed lowend dedi providers like Online.net or OVH. You get unlimited reinstalls, reboots, a rescue system, with or without a KVM. I've been renewing my online.net dedi for half a year because of the convenience. If I mess up the network config, I can always boot up the rescue system and fix it myself. Or in extreme cases, reinstall the OS. There's never a need to contact the provider.
Needing to pay money to reboot the server seems so 1990s.

You know the provider's trick don't you? I still remember your high end paid beta. But I'm just telling you I have 100% positive credit rating ATM, I'm not gonna put up with the law charge you talked about. Not a kid, mate.
