    That's a five-page thread.

Is there some particular question by some particular participant that @terrahost is expected to comment on?

Or is @terrahost expected to comment on every post by every participant?

I'm just a third-party observer, but it's pretty clear that @terrahost has already said all that they feel at liberty (or want) to say about the relationship between Terrahost and Epik.

If a present customer feels that what @terrahost has already said is not enough (and I could understand how someone might feel this), then they're always free to move their services away from Terrahost at the next renewal of their services.

But there's no requirement here on LET that @terrahost be open to interrogation about the relationship between Terrahost and Epik by seemingly random forum participants.

I didn't know that white-knighting for a corporate entity was a thing yet, you do you.
Nobody's interrogating them, and it's just a matter of time before it's in Norway's public records either way.

Being interested in who actually runs the company that you would want to use is more than a legitimate concern, I don't see how it's anything more than that. Calm down.

    I'm not white-knighting for anybody

Perhaps wait to see those records then?

The best answer appears to be that both Epik and Terrahost run the company, but I doubt that we're going to hear about percentages, if this is what you mean

    Calm down.

    I was already calm

Okay, I can understand how that particular post -- which, by the way, isn't in the thread that @oto referred to -- might or would have set up a particular expectation of a follow-up comment, so fair enough.

I tend to doubt, though, that @terrahost is at liberty to talk about exact percentages.

As far as I can tell, in general, @terrahost is very reactive to questions and issues regarding their services, and those customers who have services with them seem to be satisfied.

For this reason, I can only conclude that they don't feel at liberty to give more specific details about their relationship with Epik.

(And yes, I can also understand that some people find this frustrating.)

Performance is the same as on my Norway VPSes with Terrahost, so I assume it's the same hardware. Network to EU is not the best, but this is expected. With a discount code, it's a good deal in my opinion.

are you some kind of bank that needs to do AML on them?

be sure to ask them UBO, both notarised and apostilled before you make order.

If you are not their bank, who the fuck you think you are to request that information? You can check public records in their company registry and thats all you can know.

@oto, someday you may understand when you're in a business position contractually obligated to not answer certain questions. The hands of @terrahost are literally tied.

Rob Monster told me today that he will be making a 2nd press release soon about Terrahost. His 1st announcement was in an Epik newsletter at Christmas. Here's Rob Monster's official statement:

"Terrahost will have a separate ownership and governance structure, which should make it open to all kinds of views."
