Frantech slab panic buying
Every time hunting for a slab at Frantech is very difficult and frustrating, I tried to refresh the page at fab 1st all day, and finally, the notify script to tell me it was been restocked after I clicked the link, was out of stock again. I just feel like everyone is panicking buying all the slabs. Come on, give newcomers some chances.
Hope I have better luck next time.🤣

Build your own SLAB cluster, with blackjack and hookers.
https://buyvm.hasstock.net or https://buyvmstock.com.
...i use buyvmstock.com but... always too late anyway.
Oh, I didn't when I had to use them some time ago.
I guess it's all about luck
it would be nice if you could already get a preferred slice as an buyvm customer!
@Francisco
Yes, I used that too, but just like what you said it's always late.
Got you a slice right here if you want it pal

The hasstock one is not available yet? Coming soon on my end.
Well obviously you two are not the only ones being notified
ah.. ok.
Never understood the hype. Just but the servarica polar bear offer. Cheaper and more powerful compared to this.
Discord.
@Astro servarica LU / EU location? what servarice offer do you mean?
Canada. I'm in south asia and it saturates my 100 Mbps bandwidth when uploading or downloading.
Yeah, i have the killer whale on hand, i lived in South Asia also, quite satisfied with the speed too.
LOL what a dork
LOL what a PMS.
What is the relation on being a NERD?
Being a nerd is a physical form. It gives debuffs such as obesity, high flood pressure, and type-Z diabetes.
Being a PMS is a mental condition where a male has a soul of a female.
Have you tried asking support if they can reserve some slabs for you?
this was it. nerd.
I did, and @Francisco replied "come back at 1st, we'll have some" i know some folks said it can do somekind of reservation, miscommunication maybe?
Honest question - why buyvm when you cheaper and more power vps around with literally twice or thrice th storage?
Because people have different requirements than you. Or maybe they already have established business with Fran. Or maybe they like the added on service Fran has with Anycast IPs and/or reliability.
I've also known Fran longer than Serverica and know what I'm working with. I also am not looking for a new provider to satisfy my needs if Fran already handles everything reliably in the way that I need it. I know Fran will stay in business for a long time and I don't want to have to move regularly if I always went with the cheapest/most affordable/"cheapest" offer here. That stability and fact that I don't need to waste my time looking to move this thing every year or two brings me tremendous value.
These are just some of my answers. I have significantly more services with Fran at BuyVM than Serverica (maybe only one with them?). Their VPS is alright (it was a test VPS and nothing critical are on it. BuyVM has a few of my critical services hosted on them) but I think if I need another server I'll continue to grow my services with Fran as it's just something I know will be there.
This isn't a hit or a dig or anyone. It's just that I don't have time to constantly look at "the latest cheapest deals" at this price range. I'm also sure people have been burned by the "run for a few years and then die" hosts like GVH, HS, etc. that targetted the "Best specs for cheapest prices!". I'm happy with spending a little more money with Fran to ease my mind. Again, this isn't a dig at Serverica, I'm sure they run a fine shop and from my interactions with their representative here they seem to be running a respectable shop (which is why I already got a service with them to try it out).
I'm not really a fanboy as I don't really recommend them to everyone always. Each provider has their own uniqueness that satisfies different requirements as they come up. BuyVM is one that offers more advanced infrastructure requirements (if I need it) that other hosts usually don't have the capacity/resources to offer.
Because quality matters.
I know, low end people don't appreciate quality.
@HalfEatenPie fair points!
@deank true dat
@HalfEatenPie listed very good reasons to use BuyVM and another good reason; you do not have come on here to beg and grovel to "double my bandwidth."
