AES-NI disabled on purpose or just configuration mistake?

  • Just got one, but a small suggestion, the submit ticket page seems still in Romanian even under the English option, if that can be fixed, it would be great.

I don't even know what AES-NI is used for. :D

  • I just ordered "KVM RO-1CPU-6GB-2x300GB" (Order Number: 7571896448)

    But the invoice is showing:

    First Payment Amount: €43.19 Euro
    Recurring Amount: €107.99 Euro

Can you confirm the discount is recurring?

    Thanks

  • dfroedfroe Member, Host Rep

AES-NI allows offloading of AES operations into hardware resulting in much faster AES performance and more available CPU cycles.

A little request regarding the client status of HAZI.ro
Today I had second time bad luck to meet customers who order a service, they pay it, they receive it and then without asking for help through the ticket system, just ask for the immediate cancellation of the service believing that they will receive a full refund.

    To remember:
    1. The terms and conditions that you accept oblige us to offer returns only when the VPS servers are not delivered.
    2. We cannot return cryptocurrencies because they are converted into euros and there is no option to return to the original payment method.

In the case of today's client, I canceled the request to cancel the service and I hope that I will be able to find out what is wrong with his service because he left a simple note like "I installed the server 3 times but it doesn't work". What's wrong with your service? Should I guess what doesn't work for you?

We offered full refunds even when the clients used the services at full capacity for 1-2 months when we were unable to continue working with those clients but with clients of this type we will not do the same. Our time, licenses, colocation services, servers rented from OVH, all need predictability and it is completely missing in the case of some clients who try to abuse our kindness.

In short, if you think you just want to try our services and get your money back just because you don't like the color of the support agent's eyes, you'd better not order from us.

    All the best, Florin.

You can refund crypto payment in push-ups.

    1 push-up = 6969 satoshis

If you state that you do full refunds why a customer should care about your time or costs for that period. Just do the refund and move on, that's how this bussines is.
You know better that you can refund the most items that you buy in romania and the seller needs to comply. Same in hosting bussines.

Also, you can refund crypto if you want but it will cost you. Buy the crypto with euro and send it to your client wallet.

I have no reason to refund those who abuse our kindness.
I've did something similar when we closed our NAT containers and clients who didn't opted to pay 6 eur extra to get dedicated IPv4 got their original payment equivalent on PayPal if they paid with crypto for LXC continer.

Just tell those who paid by crypto to chargeback.
    If they cannot, too bad.

Every time you pay with crypto, a kid dies, because the electricity that could have been used to purify drinking water is spent on confirming your transaction.

Yes it's possible as long as you can find an exchange partner.
