One of my secret push-up videos on that disk is worth more than £1000,

the only video worth something is the muddy one.

    The muddy one?

No, the MUDDY  one, which was flagged 18+

Does 16TB club have to be a single server with 16TB storage?
Is it okay for 8 servers with 2TB each?

that would offer much more performance tbh :)

I think this is my only video that I played in the mud and did push-ups (start at 08:20).

    I have several of these.
For some reason that I don't understand, they get more views than my educational videos.

However, my toe got infected in September 2021 after I went into a swamp to find a geocache.
This toe costed me $12 in medicine and a week of pain.

5 days after playing in the mud, the toe started to feel painful.
I made doctor's appointment that would cost $100 to me and rest to insurance.

During my weekly conference call with my mother, I was visibly in pain.
My mother instructed me to go to the pharmacy immediately and get:

    • a bag of cotton balls
    • a bottle of hydrogen peroxide
    • a bottle of povidone iodine

    These cost $12.
After applying these antiseptic agents for 5 days, the toe heeled.

I still showed up at doctor's office, but the wait was long.
I called my mother during the wait and sent pictures of the toe, and my mother told me that I no longer needed the doctor.
Hence, I cancelled the doctor's appointment.

In summary, the cost could have been $100, which equals what I spend on all the VPS in a year.

  • The "16TB" being talked about here is the situation where a 4x4TB system is given instead of the usual 2x4TB. Due to their rarity and excellent price per TB they are highly sought after in these parts and people offer ridiculous amounts for their transfer.

I don't get it. The server is 250mbps port so what do you use the 4x4TB for? hoarding data?

After some days browsing here I get the impression many people are squatting on servers for their potential value, but they don't actually use it. Just like a bunch of people would buy 99 cents kindle books on sale that they'd never read but got it just because it's cheap.

I stream 4K just fine over 250mbps. Everyone doesnt need 10 gig up.

This whole community is built on that premise to avoid FOMO and idle not just VPS, but dedicated servers as well.

Congrats on your first post of showing cynicism and not adding anything valuable to the discussions here.

I'm here to please me, not to please you, so no need for congratulations. But anyway, thanks for the confirmation. Paying hardware and idling it out of FOMO is a provider's dream. Now I understand the business proposition here.

What’s your use case for more than 250 mbps up?
