    @Neoon are you going to put this server on StorJ? How is it going? I'm running about 3TB (2 nodes) but that thing fill up very slow, definitely they are not lacking nodes.

    As far as I know, the first 1-2 months, you only get 5% of traffic, while your node will be audited same with Tor.

    Also... recently found on the forum, since I was questioning, if they do network aware allocations. It seems like via /24 each, so if too many are in the same subnet, you be fucked.

    Well, the first months you will not get close to anything.
    It needs to ramp up, just if you got a few TB's it may start to actually pay well.

    Traffic outgoing is what pays the most money, so the less storage you have allocated the less money you get.

    So just buying servers for storj may backfire.

    storj is not worthy of raid what they pay.
    However, as suggested, you backup at least the generated node certificate.

    No idea how storj does react to total dataloss yet.
    All I know is that if you go below 60% uptime you can start again.

    What your screenshot tells us is that what they call “free setup” is, erm, “free setup”.
    The extra €2.47 you are seeing in the bottom line is the VAT on the €12.99. If you should not be paying VAT, then that is the problem, not a lack of discounted setup fee.
