Really?! Why you value so low

    Some 20-ish to 30-ish yuros/month

Also depends on location, bandwidth quality, storage freshness etc.

    Because this is LET.

    I'd say 14.

    Depends on many other factors,
and how you would use it.

From my point of view, the disk is too slow. CPU is fine.
    Bandwidth is good.
If it is unmetered and you need such amount traffic(or latency is good), it could be increased to ~$20-25.

Anyway I will idle it, so my price is just 15.

It’s not for sale I’m just trying to figure out if I got a good deal for it, seems not so much

    What else should I provide?

    @allthemtings

It has a consumer CPU, but otherwise perfectly fine

As a small piece of advice, if you ask such a question here, you're bound to get either non-serious replies or replies that don't meet your expectations

Did you post in the category Help because you really need help on this?

I’ve just bought this server so I’m just curious what people value it so see if I’ve got a good deal (or not…)

You’ve got to tell us the provider and price to make any comments. Check the life of hard disks.

  • First a thread about operating systems with no ‘debian, thx’ and now a thread about server values with no ‘$7’.

    FOR SHAME LET, FOR SHAME!

  • $100

  • I see a hetzner auction for pretty much the same specs but with 4 TB disk going for 28 eur/mth. I imagine a lot of members around here have some crazy cheap hetzner auction servers from back when the minimum price was lower. Regardless, as long as you got your server from hetzner and not from a reseller, you probably got a great deal.

Are hard disks much better than SYS or is it a lottery?

  • What is the provider and location?

    Germany, it’s a hetzner

    Burn the bridge with them.

It is always a lottery with things like SYS and hetzner auctions. You want nice, brand new stuff? Go for their main line i.e. ovh and non-auction servers. If the point is to get the best possible deal, then for hetzner auctions avoid those non-enterprise disks I guess.

I’m not sure what you are going to do with the server but I got the servarica deal for 4TB at $13 a month. Raidz2.

Well, get the 2x2 TB server with the exact same specs at 28 euros and idle your first server in true LET fashion. Don't you want a better deal?!?!?

Can you slam the storage vps cpu 24/7? Can you max out your 1 Gbps port 24/7? You can't really compare the two like that

  • it does not worth it.

you should cancel it within 14 days
