  • Try the kimsufi servers.
They are cheaper and are dedi servers.

Interestingly the storage appears as two separate ~1.8TB drives, so if you install the OS manually yourself (e.g. by booting into netboot.xyz via GRUB) and want to have all the storage as a single mount point, you'll need to use LVM to combine both into a single logical volume.

Is that because it's a SAN?

it is a limitation on xenserver(xcp-ng) that there VHD (virtual disk format) is maxed at 2TB , So to do 3.5TB we add it as 2x ~1.8TB and so on

We are in the process of writing our own storage plugin system on xcp-ng and once it is up you will be surprised by the speed and features :)

  • liteserver, great CPU performance, suboptimal IOPS.
hosthatch flash sale, still waiting for provision.
greencloudvps triennial US storage plan, failed to grab one. seems pretty good.

Did greencloudvps have any AMS storage plan during BF and CM?

    Hosthatch
    2 CPU core (fairly shared)
    2 GB RAM
    10 TB storage
    20 TB bandwidth
$175 per year ($295 per two years)
double the RAM and bandwidth for two years

Last year BF more crazy, 10 TB just $110 / yr

    Yes in Chicago.
But Los Angeles is better to me, and it was $300 per two years.
