What do you use your VPS for?

Now after the sales I have way more than I need so just looking for ideas! And how many VPSes do you own and are currently using?

I think you should imitate @yoursunny to create a ndn6 network
Whats that>
I bought every IPV6 VPS, because I am a fanboy of @yoursunny.
For idling and for getting off when I'm bored. SSH'ing to it and running random commands turns me on knowing I got this ultra rare legendary deal others can only dream about.
Are you connect Adguard with your VPN ? So vpn with Adguard
The first half of the servers is idling the other half monitors the first half.
I fap while YABS is running on those dedicated cores I got for what I think is 90% off.
Ohhh yes same here. Even more awesome is when I run a monster.bench through that is balm for the soul

Hey @FAT32 I found that little fucke... rascal!

I think we have to be open to each other. I always feel full good and get a stiff when I call htop and look at the uptime. One server has already 210 days uptime.

Sure, see Return of the ndn6 network.
It's not a full tutorial though.
You can request a 1-hour conference call with me to answer technical questions.
PM me for scheduling.
@yoursunny I watch sometimes your pushups but no new things, however it makes me funny while seeing you to roll on the floor
Ah, a bug report here: when I open new tab from the Chrome browser, pushup stops, and when I return to pushup it still stops, I click "play" button, it still stops
buy it
leave it idle
renew it
again n again
The only actual use I have for any of my servers is just for an apache server
I think I found a keeper this BF
Idling and pretty much idling until I randomly need it for something
To be honest:
Torrent Client
Nextcloud

Years ago I had Airtime running and I had my own internet radio station (that was fun)

for idling
Way to many. Personal VPS that are not related to work and paid from my own pocket is probably closer to 30 then 20.
Most of them are used as testboxes for misc projects. Some are just to get a PoP in that part of the world to simulate client experience or do monitoring.
I have two storage VPS's for backup, running Nextcloud and Restic server. I have a Jitsi for meetings with friends and family. A bunch of them run webservers with various personal sites, blogs or other webservices. 3 DNS servers. One VPS is nothing but a VPN hub, handling all the routing for the internal IPv6 net that every VPS is connected to via a wireguard network.
To be honest, I could probably run everything on a single VPS with the rights specs...but where is the fun in that?
To Run a High Traffic Website.
Hosting A Server.
VPS for hosting files and other media.
Hosting A Gaming Server.
Testing New Environments.

If you're just looking for ideas, you'll likely find either of these two lists useful:

https://github.com/awesome-foss/awesome-sysadmin
Curious about what specs you're using for that and if you followed a how-to, which one?
