Any plans to restock "NVMe Tiger"?

    $10/month
    4 Shared CPU cores
    10GB RAM
    150gb NVMe disk
    Unlimited 100mbps Bandwidth or 4TB on 1gbps
    1 IPv4 Included
    IPv6 available by request

yes we will but it may take another month or in worst case will go to BF
Ordering the parts this week but it take time to get everything and test it etc

    • on LET: Killer Whale has 4TB limit on 1gbps
    • on website: Killer Whale has 6TB limit on 1gbps

    Which one is it?

Website is the correct one , I copied from other plan on LET and forgot to update BW
So it is 6TB (we always try to make BW 2x the storage approx)

Can the Flying Fish plan be used for bittorrent downloading on rarbg or thepiratebay?

while we dont mind torrenting on SSD and NVMe plans , if you we get repeated copyright notices you may be suspended with no refund

@Shot2 - thank you, but we wanted bench for current plans, not something from months or years ago.

    • Mouse is no longer on sale.
    • Polar now has 3gb of RAM (different server most likely).
    • Storage is RAIDz2 now.

Just clarification , all our storage is SAN storage which means the actual disks are not in the same server that run the VM (this is one of the reasons we dont get flying disk speed stats due to packet has to travel to different rack to access the disks)
So you could be using same SAN storage node as any other plan , and 2 totally diffident plans can reside on the same compute node )

So usually disk test results the @Shot2 shared will be similar across most storage offers

Also all our storage offers always are raidz2 including mouse (cheaper service does not mean your data is less important for you and for us )

actually most of our SSD nodes are on raidz2 as well although some of them are using dedicated raid controllers with raid5 or raid6

Two things you must consider regarding these offers (1) Xen - not bad, just different from KVM (2) no private network to go between your compute and storage node (if you happen to have them both there)

We can add private network but if you are looking for it to avoid bw calculation there is no need
we calculate BW on edge (router) so all internal traffic is not counted , only stuff that go out of our router or through it is calculated (inter VPS traffic is free)

    Disk : 8.5 GiB ?

Yep - the YABS has trouble with custom partitioning/formatting.

I doubt the extra 1GB RAM would make a significant difference wrt network speeds, reachability, or Geekbench score. As for the underlying storage system and CPU, not sure whether it differs between "old" and "new" offers. Only @servarica_hani knows.

Autumn starts today... no longer Summer :joy:

Where can I see the virmach monitoring source code you created?

  • If I use a VPN to hide the IP when downloading torrents, will I still receive a copyright complaint? Do you allow bittorrent downloads on the Fly Fish plan by using a VPN?

  • YABS result for Killer Whale Storage offer

Don't torrent on this server. You will use too much disk IO.

Actually all our servers have at least 20gbps uplink to the core network but we limit each VPS usually to 1gbps to avoid 1 VPS from using all the server BW

We are testing increasing the limit to see if we can maintain stability
