Yep no need for an antivirus at all :P
I use MSE and one can stop the Real time scan if needed to save some resources.
I never caught any problem at all. For that one compared to one million on Windows, a good OS usage habit is more important than a security software - don't install crappywares downloaded from no where, don't install random plugins and drives that require sudo password, stick to browser malware warning, etc.
