@NobodyInteresting said: Why sink some posts and not sink this guys posts from Black Friday last year?!

Those threads pop up because people keep replying to them. If the community stops replying to them, they will sink naturally. Apparently people want to continue discussing them.

The fact that you're trying to act as if you're ignorant of why people reply on those threads is not lost on the community.

Well those threads are one of their massive income visitor magnet..

Even better, sounds like it is mutually beneficial both for the community and provider.

Judging by the fact that the members that have been here for well over a few years are bringing it to the mods attention - definitely contradicts your claim that its good for the community.

For you and the owner of the forum - for sure though.

Very few of them, mostly repeaters :) You can verify yourself by reviewing their contribution to the community. Additionally one must realize that some peoples agenda is negativity, and that's ok, that's their way of getting attention.

You'll see with time that specific members dislike the community, a specific person (the owner of the community) yet come back. That's the interesting part. So in the end, you must acknowledge that you cant please them all.

Talking about contributing to the community... Hilarious ๐Ÿ˜†

Aside from spamming the forums with your offers and running the biggest scam known to LET (to date) called AlphaRacks - what else have you contributed to the community?

Or are you about to throw a wall of text saying how grateful you are and all that shit, without answering the question being asked?

I sincerely appreciate you asking that. Also, I'll respect your request. So here it is, simple and easy for you.

    Thank you, lets hear it.

We spend thousands per month on banner advertisements here on LEB/LET - you may not realize it, but it's what helps keep this community alive - there are expenses to running a community of this size and if there's anything we can do to help keep this community alive, we will.

Wait, so YOU keep the community alive? Forgive me, but I call that BS. The ads on here are the cheapest ads that I have seen in a while (seriously, $100/m for a banner?!).

You are not spending money on the community, you are spending money on your ads. Which, forgive me if I am wrong (and I am definitely not), is called marketing
And for giving a few dollars a day to the community - we have to accept the fact that you are spamming that same community to oblivion? I am not okay with that.

There are quite a few other companies that spend money on this community, in terms of ads, yet - they are not in here, screaming at everyone that the community is alive because of them. You seem to be the only one doing that.

Additional contributions include many tutorials, you can find them here (there are many, you'll be happy to see them) https://lowendbox.com/category/tutorials/

This falls in the "marketing" portion of everything. You spend less on LET than you would on google AdWords, so don't act like you are doing everyone a favor by spamming us. You are only doing it to cram more people into your servers.

Along with giveaways sponsored by RackNerd that are promoted by the admins, giveaways that we promote. To name a few, there you go :)

Again - marketing. Every company out there spends money on marketing. So don't get yourself fooled that you are doing something special.

How do you contribute? Please exclude your negativity and generic comments.

No problem, I will exclude it.

I spend roughly between $4500 and $5500 per month on providers from LET (and a few $k on non-LET providers like AWS, DO, Linode and Vultr). The price difference between $4500 and $5500 is due to some yearly offers being renewed, so putting that into account.

I have services with almost every worth-having provider on here, except a few known scammers like yourself (paging alpharacks), pqhosting, hostsolutions and other providers, that I personally consider not worth having my dollars.

So to put this in perspective for you - you are not the one that moves this community forward. Its us - the users that do it. Because we spend money on providers, which in effect forces them to be more active on here, and spend money on the hilariously low priced ads on LET.

So please stop tooting your own horn. We all know who you are, and what you did in the past. Stop pretending that you give two shits about this community. We will not forget how you did hit this same community a few years ago, albeit using alpharacks, instead of rackners.

The fact that you asked how I contribute to the community, and I respectively explained how so, and you turn around and mention the obvious that it also benefits my company (marketing) blows my mind. I acknowledge you contribute to the community by spending thousands per month on providers here on LET. Thank You for your contribution!

Lastly, I never doubted that users help keep the community alive, that's obvious - thus a platform like this has expenses and I'm happy that the funds we spend, help do so. And yes, by doing so it potentially benefits a company and in our case, we've successfully obtained clientele here.

If it isn't clear already - Racknerd gets special privileges where threads don't sink because they're moving servers from CC.

I don't think any amount of bitching will change that because bumping offer threads moves more Racknerd VPS's, which moves more CC servers.

This is not correct. There is no relationship between LowEndBox and ColoCrossing. The parent company of ColoCrossing sold LowEndBox in January 2020. What vendors RackNerd uses has no impact on their ability to utilize the exposure opportunities available to all providers, here on LowEndBox and LowEndTalk.

Our users are our life blood. For them, I am immensely thankful. I'm also grateful for the contributions of our content creators, admins, moderators, developers, system admins and advertisers. Without the entirety of all components our community couldn't be successful.

RackNerd's marketing department is well oiled and I personally find it impressive. Other providers would be well suited to mimic some of their actions.

Yes, RackNerd supports our community in an immense way through ads. Yes, they get the benefit of clicks from those banners. Just like all of our advertisers, I'm glad our ads provide an acceptable ROI.
