It's amazing, but wrong on some pricing details. Good job though!

I wrote in a caveat that this won't be exact. Variability will be there, it's not deterministic. But the final message should remain the same.

Its unlikely at these prices and at such density, you can offer a stable service.
Virmach tried, they failed, they ended up selling the nodes up so dense that the VM became barely usable.

Post updated based on new numbers.

TLDR: Know what you're buying. Be willing to offer a reasonable value for the pricing, unless you enjoy watery soup. Then go for it.

Also I really can't be assed if you don't want to read. It's your money not mine.

  • location is crucial for me. gullo offered unbeatable vps with 512mb ram and 500gb bw located in OVH SG for $6 p/y on last BF

  • And people still claim to need 1Gb ports and nvme drives? Strange.

Can confirm if I'm going to idle I want it to idle with the best possible performance.

No joke this is the current reality for me.

The thought of having a server and not using it is easier then wanting a server but there is no good current deals.

I am unsure about giving more than 1 IP to each vm. Seems like a waste, what do you think?

FAT showed me this yesterday, https://2019.virmach.app/. Seems like a good template so I pretty much copied the same setup

tbh would much rather be able to combine plans into one with more ipv4 like 2X512MB would give me 2 vCores 1 GB Ram x*2 GB of disk and 2 ipv4

VPS and sister as addition. I just hope Cociu will provide that after his matrix being reloaded.
