Ping is a bit high. Might want to try a different server for better results.

Gee, mon, each test is done to a different location !
I think the detection is not very accurate in ookla.
Or, maybe having so many peers in the mix, it cant make up its mind.

Mine has the same problem. My friend's quickpacket is pretty fast close to 1G. Mine is similar as yours.

Pretty sure it looks like a peering issue. We'll take a look at which carrier is playing up.

  • Gee, mon, each test is done to a different location !

I'm seeing that on the tests from Pune. I also saw it on the tests for 1 of my servers at SeFlow (test1 it chose a server in Rome: download speeds around 50 Mb/s, test 2 it chose a server near Milan download speeds around 850 Mb/s). The test server it chooses can make a big difference in the results.

Try running that test again. The speeds should be much higher. I'm getting 40-83Mb/s down from my VPS in Pune (directly from Leapswitch) depending on the test server Ookla chooses

  • Wow, most / all of these have a crapper upload speed than download speed. That just goes to show if it's a server, wgetting a speedtest file doesn't mean jack squat, since upload speed is just as or even more important than download speed.

That is normal, most people are using their servers to serve data, this is why many providers offer free incoming traffic and others use it as DDoS cushion.

Can get up to 20Mbit/s upload with LTE. :D It's quiet congested so download speed a little lower.

Wow, that is great speed for mobile. I get about 3 mb but it is not 4g. Cant complain for free, though.
