I guess he wants to say that he will gladly take the place if someone wants to quit from the waiting queue.
But it's not like is a free idling service. It's a 50 euro VPS. Giving a "slot" would mean someone selling this for at least 50 euro + transfer taxes. This would also mean @cociu providing a refund (so the new client can make an order), or accepting a VPS transfer between customers.
Upon transferring between clients, things will get even more complicated if new client will want a refund... in case he is unsatisfied with VPS performance, even though VPS is not even provisioned yet (delayed by who knows how many days). In case of refund... the refund is taken from client selling the "slot".
This is a good story for popcorn-drama over a slot.
