It's harder due to freedom of speech laws. Singapore's a good pick but they don't have rough speech laws.

Japan has solid freedom of speech laws similar to the States.

I'd have to look into AUS but I don't think theirs are as explicitly declared.

The laws of mathematics are very commendable, but the only law that applies in Australia is the law of Australia

Yes but if they don't explicitly declare what is and isn't freedom of speech, it makes things a gray area :)

The UK has roughly the same freedom of speech laws as Luxembourg or any other EU nation for that matter.
Not that I agree with keeping him in jail past his release date just incase he tries to flee before his extradition case can be heard. Assange want to jail in the UK for skipping bail. It is the US that is wanting to try him on grounds of leaking government secrets.

  • I got a slice 512 in Vegas and was "stress testing" the speed for a few days and could get almost to the gigabit speed advertised. Now my speed seems limited to a pretty consistent 90 Mbit/s (about 11 megabytes per second). I wonder if I got throttled for stressing the system too much. I'm moving some stuff around different cloud accounts and using the VPS as a middle man.

Quite possible. You can PM me your IP and I'll look.

I smacked a handful of people really slamming the port (some google/gdrive thing from China) so it's possible you got caught in the cross fire.
