Any way to make this work properly with a dummy interface? Everything works well with IPv6 when I use it using IPv6 from a physical interface but fails on testing (test-ipv6.com) and I cannot access ipv6.google.com as well but can access other IPv6-only websites when using dummy interface.
@Nyr is there any workaround for the ip6tables rules because currently my ipv6 is dynamic
Mailcow in a few minutes

Hello
I want to ask
Can i install wireguard & openvpn in same VM / VPS?
without interfering with each of them of course
This script does that pivpn
For anyone referencing this script in documentation or anywhere else: git.io is being phased out this Friday, so if your documentation referenced the one-liner, it needs to be updated to something like this:
wget https://github.com/Nyr/wireguard-install/raw/master/wireguard-install.sh && bash wireguard-install.sh
Thank GitHub for the generous 5-day advance notice.
If a mod wants to edit the OP, that would be appreciated.
I have created a new short URL for your project
https://z.sh/wireguard-install
Feel free to use it.
@xTom 💯
You got a such a nice collection of domain names!
I was considering to provide a short URL myself (have some 2-letter domains) so I prefer not to rely on a third party for this. I appreciate that you are someone reliable, but still I prefer not to introduce an additional point of failure.
GitHub was supposed to be reliable and they discontinued the service with a 5-day notice in the blog, I am still salty about it
PS: your domain is currently blocked by a threat intelligence provider, mnemonic.no. I know because I use 9.9.9.9 for DNS, which apparently uses this threat intelligence feed and blocks resolution for your domain.
Now, this is how you deserve the community's .
So hot
If you need reliable bit.ly is your best bet, they allow for custom urls
Shortners you don't run yourself are wank
The correct way is to never bookmark or star your repo but search google for it every single time.
Now we offer a free

Is it possible to get an option for the script to setup a Route48-like IPv6 tunnel for non-IPv6 endpoint together with IPv4 VPN?
It is relatively easy do modify the client config for this. Just edit the the following parameters:
Address = fddd:2c4:2c4:2c4::2/64 #change the last octet as required to match the client IPv6 address
AllowedIPs = ::/1, 8000::/1
Leave everything else as is.
OMG, how can they block our domain that was never used before. I need to find a way to report that to Quad9.
Update: it's working now after I sent removal request to Quad9
Thank you for the heads up, shame about Github and 5 day notice.

Debian 10 or higher is required to use this installer.
This version of Debian is too old and unsupported.
root@irc:~# cat /etc/debian_version
bookworm/sid
This is Debian 12.x. /facepalm
Only stable distributions are supported, but I need to improve the error message. Try to overwrite the OS check at the start of the script, it can probably work but it is untested.
I did that, ended up with a shitload of errors about "wg missing" on the host OS. I thought the script would take care of the apt-get install part or maybe something else is broken due to it being 12.x.
If it did not work, then too bad, only stable distributions are supported.
That said, I will take a look and see if it is something which can be addressed easily now
Anyway to do a split vpn with wireguard?
TunSafe, if I remember correctly. But it is unmaintained.
You could also manually configure the routing in the client as you wish.
