Hello,
We lowered the SYS-WS-3 price from 56.99 € to 49.99 €
We applied it to existing sales if you already ordered this server.

@ninzo59 is bandwidth 500mbps or 250?
For now, still 250 Mbps
No APAC Offers on Dedicated Server?
Not on APAC datacenters, sorry.
@ninzo59 Any chance of modifying the storage offers so that they are remotely interesting?
Non recurring offers, with the sky high set-up seems to be really off-putting.
Makes me wonder what the point really is with such offers - it is not like people willy 'try' storing 20+TB of data on some 'different' network and then move elsewhere in a few months.

@ninzo59 does the rise series have 10Gbit NIC like Advance series?
@jihan128 i don't think it does

yeah, OVH VPS are pretty slow on the I/O
Is there a limit of 1 per customer? I went to order 2 but the automatic discount only applied to one. I proceeded with the 1 order, but would like to order 1 more.
Hello @ViridWeb ,
Indeed the I/O seems quite low and maybe it will show different results at a different time. VPS remains shared resources.
I would suggest you to have a look at our VPS in Singapore where the Average I/O speed is at 706.7 MB/s (see bench below)
Alternatively you could opt for a public cloud instance where you will have guaranteed resources (except sandboxes) and thus won't be affected by "noisy neighbours".

Also we know that vps shared resources because we are also a provider.
But SSD vps with 87MB/a I/O ? Dont how many thousands users YOU create on a single node.
And how could you say that we should buy another vps from a different location? when we already paid for a whole year?
It's your duty to fix the issue on that node.
Hello @ViridWeb ,
You tagged me (OVH Asia Pacific) in your post so I thought you had some interest in this part of the world hence my answer about the Singapore option and did not know you bought 1-year upfront until you mentioned it. (the Europe/france option is popular since the traffic is unmetered)
Anyway, sorry if I have misinterpreted your comment but there were no offence here at all.
I will provide your bench to our technical team for review and if you'd like a refund please contact our support and explain why you would like to cancel
Nah! Refund not needed right now as your team maybe trying to solve the issue. Hope they will fix soon.
Also my first post is just a small review of your France ssd vps server. It's not a complain as I know this is not your support desk..
And sorry if my comments was harsh.
This vps is only for some personal work/experiments so I'm not in hurry.
Hope issues will fix soon..
what is the average I/O speed of ovh vps in USA datacenters (US-East) ? i was tinking about purchase a ovh vps in US-East region but if there are I/O problems, It is not worth paying a year in advance
Too bad the advance stor only comes with 1 SSD drive so no redundancy
Advance stor 2 has no availability, oh well better luck next time I guess.
@ninzo59 will OVH be likely to bring out better VPS's with 500mb/1GB connection and a bit more storage built in please?

Cool man, thanks for ratting me out. What an amazing place this is!
Rule is rule, everyone is following it. Try to find another LET member around here who have more than 2 lines of signature.
For the record, I didn't flag you
+1 ! Our man is known for congratulating about number of posts. He does so openly, and does not rat.
Coming back to the thread, @OVH_APAC , is the Singapore GST payable for non- Singapore residents also? Thanks
@OVH_APAC when will the Ryzen game servers come to Singapore?
Hello @experttechit,
Our teams are working on a new VPS range, I can't communicate any ETA yet, but this should happen sometimes this year. It should answer most of your requirements above (-;
@ovh_apac - this sounds great! really looking forward to it and hope it will be in the UK
Hello @vyas11, if you are address is Singapore you will need to pay the 8% GST on your orders via OVH website. (Then as a non-resident, I believe you could check if this claimable with Singapore tax department or not, but cannot really answer this)
Hello @marvel
At this stage, we will only offer Intel i7 Game servers in the Singapore and Sydney Datacenters (i7-6700K 4GHz/4.2 GHz or i7-7700K 4.2GHz/4.5 GHz).
AMD Ryzen are only available in the European and North-American locations.

Thanks
@OVH_APAC Do you provide internal DirectAdmin licenses for VPS and Dedicated servers? If yes, what are the prices and are they available in all locations?
Hello @MechaniWeb, Yes we provide DirectAdmin licenses for Dedicated servers.
You may purchase them from your control panel once your dedi is delivered or on some servers it can be purchased directly in the order funnel: for instance on Advance 2 server:
cost of the licence is US$ 11.40/month.
For VPS, only cpanel and plesk licences are sold: for instance on a VPS SSD
Hope this helps
