Forgive my bad wording. I wasn't trying to say these deals are crap or something. It's just I don't need a beefy VPS with 6GB ram or a dedicated server with 2TB hard drive. I hope to see more choices for shared hosting in US west coast. I paid over $100 for a 3-year shared hosting package before I found this forum and then realized I didn't have to pay that much for a hobby site. The shared hosting I'm using ends next January so I'm looking for something cheaper to replace it. Though I've messed around with some VPSes and learned the basics, I still feel shared hosting suits me better in the long run.
