Got some DMs via discord regarding this and had to make a clarification:

Pricing is per /24 subnet. The "2x" means two pcs are available, not two /24s (/23 equivalent). It's the same principle as items on invoices. Eg. 2x French Baguette @ 1.00 EUR => 2.00 EUR total (and most likely one baguette you'll not eat today and will become rock-hard 'till tomorrow). :)

    Thanks! <3

@SKRIME said: @itzsenu For hobby use with IPv6 only, we do ASN at 69.99€/yr plus a 19.99€ one-time setup, with a /48 IPv6 included. Maintainer, RPKI, ROAs and rDNS are self-service in our panel. IPv4 PI isn't something we offer.

Okay, how much would it cost to get IPv4 addresses from you?

@itzsenu IPv4 we do as a full /24 for 129.99€/mo. The 256 addresses are registered on your name in the RIPE database, and you set reverse DNS for every address yourself in our panel. We source the range and set it up for you personally. Abuse handling and blacklist management stay with us, so on IPv4 there's no own maintainer or abuse contact for you.

    Order: skrime.eu/lir/order

    Thanks, I'll consider your offer.

  • AlyxAlyx Member, Host Rep

Not as bad, but probably only because there are less sales people individually trying to make a sale

For me personally, a spammer is anyone who shoves you an unsolicited offer down the throat. A filthy spammer is anyone who, despite you say you are not interested, send the offer again.

This second category is where I'd put both cogent and this ipxo wannabe.

Apologies for any confusion! I just wanted to reach out casually and ask if you'd be open to featuring your IP ranges on https://ipye.com

This is just a one-time outreach to hosting providers in the community and definitely not spam. If you're not interested, no problem at all.

Thing is... every other spammer out there reaches out once per project, casually and with good intentions i am sure.

Unsolicited cold email advertising a product or project is the definition of spam. Doing it at scale and sending it to multiple recipients makes it even worse.

Please reach out casually to friends and family and not to email addresses you've never interacted with before next time ;)

Not really... you sent mails to serverspan; you got rejected, then you sent on enginyring... a non-spammer would've stopped before sending the first email. A decent spammer would've stopped after rejection.

You on the other hand... went cogent.

I did email multiple companies. Those 2 are two different companies.

Aren't you the one who revoked an IPv4 range of mine that was leased from you at the middle of the month and I end up losing a few hundred bucks a few years back?

Could you be so kind to tell me what company is mentioned in the footer for both websites?

Also, YES! I am the one who immediately terminate allocations for obvious spammers or CSAM abusers. Do not come to me for IPv4 if you're either of those.
PS: Not sure on the hundred bucks. I recall you paid monthly.

    < /offtopic>

1x /24 available at 85 EUR/mo (ex. VAT). If you pay for 1y in advance or you migrate from IPYE -> 55 EUR/mo (ex. VAT).

Tell that to some of the most reputable providers on LET who run their infra on our subnets since 2023 2021 (later edit).
We just don't tolerate illegal activities. You may be the better choice for that, but we're not. :)

If you want to play with routing and BGP but don't want to pay for a real ASN or dox yourself, give DN42 a try.

I read this as "I will lease something to you, then steal it back and keep your money on an excuse of a false abuse report" because that seems to be the usual TOS experience

I don't care at all how you read it. Illegal activities = instant termination.
I am not a shady business' promoter. If that's your objective, go with IP**.com platforms.

PS: When you receive reports from a country's official CSAM Police, that's not a false report - for example. Or when both spamcop and spamhaus threat you to blacklist your main /22 for a single /24 who's hammering the spam button - that's again not a false report.
