Its free for 1st month, there was option on ordering to tick it. My vm got 194.87.110.xxx range which is not under voxility. Overall too good vps for small price, lets see how long will last. :)

Well, even if its free the first month, it still reflects itself in the price if you enable it.
So would not be possible if it showed you 30RUB, that you had enabled it.

Of course the payment would be just 30RUB but before you pay, it should mention a higher price, which it didn't when I ordered.

Also the renewal price, still shows 30RUB, not more not less.

Its fine as far as I can tell, pay with CC does 30 RUB.

    Thats about
4.5 dollars... but for how many months?

  • vyas11 said: 4.5 dollars... but for how many months?

    Yes, 300RUB maybe ~ $4.5

For the $0.5 / 30RUB, maybe we can use it fot 10 months?

No, I still didn't, don't really want one without IPv6. It means I will need to use a tunnel, and this can add issues (such as MTU) and reduce the overall reliability -- or reduce it "even more", in case of a "no SLA" plan like here. Not sure I want to even bother with all of this, even if it was free.

ErawanArifNugroho said: We need to add 300RUB if paying with paypal.

I would not recommend paying 300 RUB at once. There is no guarantee whatsoever that this stays a thing (or stays non-crappy) for more than a few months, and prepaying you are betting on wanting to keep using it for ten.

  • You are right. No guarantee how it works for the next 10 months.

Maybe I can give it a try, and let see how it go. Will report this in the next 10 months, if no problem exists

  • My server shows up as 'server blocked'. Anyone else has this issue?

    Can you post a screenshot?

    Mine looks fine:

Smokeping so far, looks good from Finland:

    From Frankfurt it looks meh.

  • Weird, I saw the IP, didn't set the firewall. Can't login to SSH

Ping the IP from my home, no reply
Ping from BuyVM Lux, no reply

Restart the vps, still no reply.
Set the firewall to open port, still no reply.

Mine's stuck here. I sent them a ticket so let's see how it goes :)

  • It seems like my BuyVM IP and my ISP were blocked. Tried to use another VPS worked fine :D

How do you have two, since this plan has a limitation of 1 per user account. Maybe this is the cause as well.

I actually have no idea. I tried to order one, but when I went to my credit card app to authorize 3D secure and came back, chrome crashed. So I refreshed the page and paid. After that, it was like that and the system just added 30RUB to my account balance so I just added 300RUB more (I didn't want to go through the 3D secure process again) and paid both (assuming that the un-paid server was the issue).

Same here, the website stuck for a while and I got two...

  • Got one as well. Waiting for installation to complete.

Well yea no wonder that he got his account locked for breaching the ToS.

  • My installation is stuck at 74% (already sent a ticket)

Edit: ssh seems working now. Although I did nothing.

  • I ordered earlier, had issues, left it, came back and have two fully working boxes...

it was an issue with one of the DNS entries, removing it fixed the issue.
