That's a new one...
Goes fully to the employee. I‘ve asked them about it couple months so it‘s not that new. Not sure if it was limited to a few selected customers prior tbh...
Never seen dat, either. And the minimum tip amount is 50 euro? Surely, u jest?
And charge tax on tip? Surely, u fuck?
Thats quite an old thing. iirc some LET thread told me everything minus tax goee to the employee
Weird it appeared to me only today.
The max amount is 50 without vat and minimum 1 without vat.
Wtf cloudflare double post
Double post is one of signs of the end.
I've seen it in my account like 2 years ago
This has been around for sometime now. But it was optional. Have they made the minimum amount as 1 euro now? Cant check, as I do not have services with Online anymore.
@uptime @uptime flagged flagged for double-thanking again again.
Wow, so is a double thank.
To answer your first question, it says right in your screenshot.
Can confirm this is not new, I've seen it more than a year ago.
If you tip a certain employee he lets you into the secret online.net club
Their general support is actually really good, so it is probably used often.
That is not new, but the 50EUR default donation by default is new.
They've had that for a long time and there was a thread about it a year or two ago here. But 50EUR default?!! Wow.
I tip one potassium.
That's very generous!
Do they have a VIP room?
I am online.net customer for a long time. It was there for about 2 or 3 years. It’s a little weird but you can choose not to tip, so I think it’s still fair. The ops is misleading us since he chose 50 eur from drop down list. The default is not to tip also.
What's so odd really? I mean it is a service industry and don't you tip a waiter/waitress? I mean yeah not seen much in the industry, but still. Even some forums have this feature if some one helps you and you feel he deserves it.
I don't know just does not seem that odd to me. I mean tip if you want to, or don't. It's not like it's mandatory or something.
In France I think usually not. The waiters/waitresses get paid more and that is reflected in the restaurant bill, called "service compris" (service included). In the US they are paid very little by the restaurant so their payment comes mostly from tips.
I always left one when I was in France. Maybe I offended some people who knows anymore.
Old News. The News is the fixed TIP.
Tipping doesn't offend, but I think it is not expected. Basically you would leave a small amount to thank them in cases where you got unusually good service. At least that's what I was told in Germany. Any French people here who can enlighten us? Now I'm wondering.
@uptime : How did you do this?
http://prntscr.com/oltd05
just fast fingers double-clicking on a slow machine my man
(but I am sure it is scriptable to a greater extent as well ...)
EDIT2: scriptability confirmed
