    I think you may have a discounted calendar ?

    #!/usr/bin/env python3
    from datetime import date
    print((date(2019, 11, 29) - date.today()).days, 'days until black friday')

    a discounted calendar is usefull XD

    Avoid any provider promoted on Low End Box that is at ColoCrossing (except VirMach).

    That's where I got my 148. I didn't include the +19 hours. His code rounds up to 149 (thus his "discounted" comment).

    Uh ... oboy. Yeah. No. I don't know.

    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/154268/umaxhosting-more-cheats-avoid/p1

    EDIT2:

    I mean, there's bad, really bad, not-so-great, and maybe good enough.

    Depending on what you need it for, it's a fine line to distinguish.

    This one seems to be somewhere between bad and really bad but who knows really.

    Maybe they have a doggo that thinks they're just the greatest.

    What do you plan to use "cheapest vps" for ?

    The free tier (which doesn't expire) is likely to be more permanent than low end VPS companies.

    mmm ... well good uptime is not something I would take for granted - though it is possible with cheap vps

    if NAT works for you then could try InceptionHosting (unless ordering from China or Brazil, unfortunately those locations have caused too much stress for @AnthonySmith to service anymore) - I have their 128 MB ram OVZ NAT "MiniVPS" for €3.50 per year, it is reliable.

    would IPv6 work ? You could setup an IPv6-to-IPv4 tunnel without extra cost.

  • AnthonySmithAnthonySmith Member, Patron Provider

    Cheap + dedicated IP + good up time is possible but its unlikely you will get all 3 of those if you just go based on the lowest price you can find.

    Options here from €13.00 p/year: https://inceptionhosting.com/vpsserversall.html

    then i will still need a dedicated ip ipv4

    I'm not sure that's the case, but ... I guess maybe better to keep things simple if you want reliability

    Inception does have a 256 MB OVZ w/ IPv4 for €10 per year (can pay €5 every 6 months) - seems to be currently in stock: https://clients.inceptionhosting.com/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=0 - this may be decent option for known reliable service at a reasonable price - unless you find something else on sale tomorrow (4th of July sometimes sees a few good deals).

    Otherwise, might still find something cheaper with virtono and hostsailor - I have no experience with either, can only say that both have been in business for a while and you can find reviews and discussion about both on LET. I just mention them because I saw them listed with cheap offers on the serverhunter site.

    EDIT2:

    Also saw a few cheap offers from yoctobox, which I can't remember hearing much about either way - might be worth taking a closer look
