Surely you can design it better
It's an ambitious project but I still find http://lowendstock.com/ more useful.
Something is clearly wrong.

Encoding problem in your scraper?
=====
Problem in price per month conversion, and some VPS requires you to pay your RAM I see.

Nice job on currency conversion.
axzxc1236, thank you for letting me know, It is an error on our part. Will be corrected when the db updates.
Yes, will get it fixed. thank you!
The site has been redesigned. price ram disk .... data are formatted using table, as suggested by many users here. thanks to @belemenon @VPSSLIM @jsg @ewwink @corbpie for the ui improvement suggestion. Many don't like the old design, Is the new design OK?
Nice redesign but headers should be clickable sort by.
Thank you for your suggestion donli, I see many people want to search for really cheap vps, dedicated, so I have changed the default sort to "sort by price" now, so $10, $7 dedicated are displayed near top of the table.
What do you need to be sorted? What sort option do you need?
==========
new feature added, search by location / country
all dedicated server in usa
https://serverfound.com/dedicated/us
all dedicated server in the UK
https://serverfound.com/dedicated/uk
all dedicated server in Europe
https://serverfound.com/dedicated/eu
any country code works, just replace us, uk, eu, with your contry code
https://serverfound.com/dedicated/fr
https://serverfound.com/dedicated/de
....

any country code works
@linuxclark Adding bandwidth limits would be great, nice service though
Has anyone mentioned Hetzner though?
So it's a bad version of Server Hunter?
===How to use this site> @Jord said:
Hetzner plans have been added already, both vps and dedicated, even hetzner auctions(first page) deal are inclued.
if there is a host that you are not sure is included or not, you can just add that to the end of the domain.
https://serverfound.com/hetzner
https://serverfound.com/ovh
https://serverfound.com/linode
or you can use control + F hetzner
on this page
https://serverfound.com/dedicated
Thank you Rami, give me 3 to 5 days, I will get bandwidth added to the site.
donli, thank you for your suggestion, I will add sorting to the site, but it may need arround 30 days, the table will be sortable by, price, ram, rating(to be added to the table), alexa ranking(to be added), asn upstreaming count(to be added), sorting will be a pretty big update for the site.
There's at least 4 of these things now (lowendstock, metadedi, serverhunter, and now this). Why do we need so many? Should there be some kind of joint project? Does this one have a data download option? I don't really care about the web UI, I'd rather be able to just get the bulk data and search it myself. Also mostly want historical data rather than current.
I normally couldn't see wanting a server with specs XYZ and using an app like this to find an unknown host offering it. There are some LET hosts that I like and am comfortable with so for most requirements I'd just buy it from them and not care whether some summerhost had similar specs for a few cents less. Or if I had an unusual requirement I'd post in the requests forum. Not criticizing this app or its developer, but just expressing some doubt about the general category. It seems like the kind of problem that appeals more to programmers than to users.
The way I think about this, its just like linux. slackware, suse , redhat, debian, ubuntu, arch, manjaro..... Kind of similar goal, but everyone is different. And I think there will be more sites like these popping up.
I think the 4 sites are different, It's kind of good to be different.
@donli thinks lowendstock is more useful
@Rhys thinks serverhunter is much better.
Both of them are right, people have different needs, different sites server different needs.
Yes, but right now it is for internal use, subject to change.
The API is for Andorid App, and IOS app if there a is need for it.
Anyone think mobile app useful at all? I am not sure myself, If people find it useful, will build native mobile app for serverfound, the API is for mobile APP
https://serverfound.com/json/dedicated
https://serverfound.com/json/vps
The website runs on the API too
web UI
https://serverfound.com/dedicated
API
https://serverfound.com/json/dedicated
web UI
https://serverfound.com/vps
API
https://serverfound.com/json/vps
web UI
https://serverfound.com/json/vps/$5
API
https://serverfound.com/vps/$5
Just Add json to any url to get the API/json interface
Any url work.
Same here, I alway use vps from digitalocean, linode, they are good and cheap enough,
until I found out hetzner offer 2gb ram vps for 2.49 euro.
https://www.hetzner.com/cloud
That is nearly double the ram for half the price.
One of the goals of serverfound is that it filters out summer hosts for you, I will add asn upstream, alexa ranking info to the site, to help people find out if a host might be a summer host or not, there will be lots of improvement in 30 days.
Yes the lowendtalk forum is very useful, if 2 out of 10 people on this forum think serverfound is kind of useful, that will be great
Yes, I agree with you, if you already know ovh, soyoustart, online.net this site is less useful.
but if you search on google "best dedicated server" or "cheap dedicated server" all you see is "top 10 dedicated", bluehost dedicated, ipage dedicated, 1&1 dedicated....
(lowendstock, metadedi, serverhunter, and now this) all these sites are a step in the right direction.
and Yes, there is a lot more to be done, thank you for your suggestion
Long time lurker.
I just wanted to say that I used your database last week to look for a new host, and found one I liked.
I was in search of a new server, but i never though of using a VPS, because they don't generally fit my needs. Ended up discovering contabo. They seemed to have what I wanted. Did some reading on LET and WHT, and I was sold.
Thanks to LET community for helping me out.
thejinx0r glad you find this site is useful
Keep up the good work, Clark!
Thank you SergeiHOSTKEY,
we are still working on the site, it will take sometime,
