Thank you for you suggestion belemenon vpsslim, the site used to be "beautiful", with "improved ui", but chrome browser can't display many plans on one page, it became very slow. so I switched to this simple and pale UI. beautiful UI can take 1k plans on one page, with this UI, it can take 10k plans on one page. Yes I agee the UI is pale :)

:) great, every host, every plan is check one by one.

Almost all hosts on the site operate their own network(Own ASN number), so most host on the site own hardware, many hosts operate their own datacenter, ovh hetzner online hostdime hivelocity ...

  • Contabo is listed with US as location, might want to take a look.

    Thanked by 1linuxclark
  • Thank you AC_Fan, will change Contabo location to germany.

    Thank you.

You can add your own host, or any host you know to the site, by leaving a message here, let me know the domain name, I will do the rest, adding vps , dedicated, shared, reseller plans, price, ram, disk, location...

    Reqirement:

The host should operate own network(Own ASN) with at least two upstream providers.

ValiSXP, I will add host-expert.eu to the site.

    Thank you

You should make all results, searchable and sortable.

Being a lowend kind of person I selected the VPS link and clicked on the $1 tab and got:

    https://serverfound.com/vps/$1

There's only one item listed on that page:

    $0.99 ______________ -0.0009765625gb ram _____ US _________________ fdcservers _________ orders.fdcservers.net/index_61.php?plan_id=820 ______10GB SSD

Clicking on the URL link gives: https://www.fdcservers.net/index_61.php
    404 Page not found.

  • Thank you donli

    fdcservers changed url to here.
    https://orders.fdcservers.net/order/plan/820

    $0.99 vps, 128mb ram

    Thank you.

You need to be able to specify the term for the price -there doesn't seem to be a way currently to separate yearly price/deals from monthly.

  • donlidonli Member

For VPS's the ram tab starts at 1 GB, there needs to be tabs for ram below 1GB as well (128 MB, 256 MB, etc..).

    donli,

there are not many hosts offer 128mb ram vps anymore

You can just don't use the ram option, this search return all vps under $3, that includes(128mb, 256mb, 512mb...1gb)

    https://serverfound.com/vps/$3

if you want to search 256mb, 512mb ram, This is a work around, not great, but seem to work,

    you can change the url

    from
    https://serverfound.com/vps/1gbram
    to 512mb
    https://serverfound.com/vps/0.5gbram
    to 256mb
    https://serverfound.com/vps/0.25gbram

    Thanks

Nice. There was a times where people just thought "yea, I will add some shiny buttons and call it a day", now AI. Damn!

Love to see some source code. Site looks like a dump for scrapper. Some results are worthless, such as: https://serverfound.com/dedicated/$20/16gbram - worldstream has no servers on this link which are 20$.

    Increase scrapper accuracy.

  • jsgjsg Member, Resident Benchmarker

I'm all for a simple lite design. But that isn't lite, that's simply poor and next to unusable. Plus many results are plain wrong. Sorry.

  • LTniger said: Increase scrapper accuracy.

    To scrappy dappy doo

  • LTniger,

Thank you for using the site,

I took me sometime to figure this out, I remember check this link
    https://serverfound.com/dedicated/$20/16gbram
myself trying to make sure the price are right for hostkey, worldstream as they offered some crazy cheap deals seem to be impossible. I am pretty sure the price for hostkey, worldstream were correct.

OMG REALLY NICE I FOUND MY DREAM DEDICATED HERE

This was the third comment by belemenon.

I think belemenon might brought the server before you. The servers just sold out.

    https://serverfound.com/dedicated/$20/16gbram

primcast, kimsufi are still offering $20 16gb servers.

out of the 12 links on the above page, I remember checked 10 to make sure the prices match their website. So most the prices on the page WERE correct. Just the cheap servers were sold out.

You might be a little bit late, to the party.

Thanks again for using the site :) and thank you for your comment.

  • In this case an AI doing what you said it's useless for me... I always have different needs, and certainly seeing me always get the same results would not help me.

Sorry for the confusion. There is no AI on the site, if people think this site is kind of useful, I will add AI to it. There are thousands of plans on one page, AI(deep learning) can be used like a better sort, trying to guess which plan you might like the best.

loading 10k plans in one page is not good idea, it just make confused, they will prefer filtered results.

I will use pagination or table with Ajax and JSON to minimize server resource and speed up the website. Also consider using gzip, it will compress "/dedicated" page from 2Mb to 100kb.

It's not for you to decide. It's AI's job to satisfy your 'different needs' judging by your behavior patterns. And believe me, you are so predictable, that AI will pick your 'different needs' in no time.

Off-topic: Sometimes Youtube suggestions scares me, because they can be soooo on point.

  • Tried last night. Clicked maybe 10 offers. NONE were in Stock or still listed.

It's not useful to me in the current form.

Right now, we can update all the data(10k+ plans) at lease every 15 days.
So, some data on the site is out of date.
Every offer will be checked again one by one to make sure data on serverfound match host's website.
The website is less than two days old. If people find it useful, I promises to improve the site, please give us 3 - 5 days :)

You can think of out of stock deal as a 404 page on the web, yes the page is gone but the web is still useful, right? :)

Out of stock listing sometimes can be useful too, it means the host offered the deal in the pass, you might contact the host to get a server or just monitor host's website, get the deal when it is available again.

I know, the $5/year shared plan on buyshare and $10 dedicated on wholesaleinternet are out of stock most of the time, but it is good to know even they are out of stock.

I am not 100% sure, but I think people are trying to find $10/month dedicated with 16gb ram, it will be a very difficult task to find one in stock.

Really appreciate for using the site, and letting me know where it needs to be improved.
